I read newspapers from around the world - UK, US, AUS and Russia to name a few- I spend a fair bit of time reading the ,"Independent". Today for the first time I noticed a piece on jews and read it, but was somewhat amazed to find
there wasn't a readers' comments box. This is the first time to my knowledge that the opinion box wasn't available. So, am I being paranoid by surmising that the Indendent isn't independent after all?

I used to read The Independent daily, until I noticed that it followed an editorial pattern of controlled opposition and although tackled topics which other newspapers ignored such as Gaza, it toed the elite line on other subjects such as banking and globalisation.

A good site to read about how the media is controlled is medialens:

It has been my paper of choice for last few years....q liked the sport, but no they have their agenda, no doubt...
At leats you can comment on most articles unlike the Lentil eating Guardian twats.....
It isn't Independent though....that is their clever little USP....
They still talk about boogeymen in caves being behind 9/11 and perpetuate the myth..
All mainstream media are scum in my opinion...
