another sighting

My friend was watching the meteor shower that happend a few weeks ago. She said that they were wishing the street lights were off so they could see the sky better.
Not long after, all the power went out in the village.... complete darkness.
So... she watched the sky for a while, seeing the occasional shooting star.
Then she seen a light, looked like a star, and it was moving up and down fairly quickly... then it would dash off at high speeds. She watched it for 10/20 mins... then it cleared off.
After it had gone out of sight, all the power came back on.

about 2 months ago i saw about 40 orange scattered lights silently floating through the sky. i could not explain for the life of me what it was.
whatever it was though. it was beautiful
