I was just curious if anyone out there had gotten a copy of Secret Space 2 Alien Invasion yet, and if so - is it any good? I haven't been able to find a single word about it online, no reviews - nothing... The official release date was June 29th i guess but I still haven't heard a word...
infinite love,

I am waiting for it to turn up on torrent somewhere, simply because I know Everard doesn't want to share his stuff.

Chris Everard values his copyright; there's nothing wrong with that. Copyright law is necessary to protect artists from losing control of their creations. Copyright is actually connected to property laws. In the same way that someone can't walk up to you and steal your wallet, people can't steal your copyright. Copyright can also be bought, sold and left in wills. (I've had to make a will for my copyright). Copyright governs the laws of rights leasing; this is when you get a book like The DaVinci Code and someone wants to make a movie of it. The film producer must buy a copyright lease from Dan Brown the author.
The Enigma DVD's aren't that expensive; about the same as what most people spend on beer in a week. What's wrong with buying them? Everard even pays your postage and packing! If nobody bought his films he'd go bust and no more would be made.

Everard and Enigma sold out to a large corp not so long ago, so as long as they pump money in, he won't go bust.
I have always said with anything that if I like it so much I would buy it anyway. This can be said with the Terrorstorm DVD by Alex Jones, Freedom or Fascism by David Icke and the latest Pharmacratic Inquisition DVD.
I am totally in favour of rewarding artists who have presented good work, but Everard doesnt allow his stuff to go on Google Video - he expects people to just buy it without knowing what it is going to be like.

But to be fair you don't get new Harry Potter movies on Google vid first either. This is the purpose of producing trailers; to advertize, but also to give potential customers a taster to decide if it's the film for them.
Who Everard has sold to or how much money he has is not the point. It's his artistic creation; he has a right to decide how it is distributed. He doesn't charge for postage and packing; give him some credit for that!

Unfortunately I can't help you with Demonoid, but the stuff over there is always indexed at torrentspy and torrentz anyway.

Thats true, and I guess that aspect of my argument didn't hold up much; although I guess you could argue that if you like something at the cinema, you would buy it on DVD. I don't really know of any instances where you pay £15 on a film that you have never seen in your life. I suppose some people do.
I give Everard a lot of credit for paying for the P&P, although surely that is reflected in the overall price?
It is probably more reasonable than the infowars p&p rates... I was quoted $60 for one dvd!

Has anyone out there even gotten the copy they've ordered? I understand fully why Everard is so controlling with his work. I'm a musician/composer and when you find your work in places it shouldn't be it can get a little frustrating.
But I litterally have not seen ONE review, trailer, or comment about this film and I'm beginning to think it doesn't exist. With all of the troulble they (enigma channel) have had with sending orders, or getting orders and all of the billing mishaps i'm not so sure i want to risk placing an order before I know it's going to be honored and before i've even seen a trailer... The only info available on the web about this film is the banner on the enigma site. It's gonna take a little more info than that to get me to purchase it. But, here we are two months after the official release date and still not one word... I'm bummed out...
I was just going to order it from the bookshop here but if no one out there has gotten a copy yet I'm not so sure i want to risk it...

OK, I see what you mean about the cinema, but the difference with Google vid is that you can download and copy it if you like. There are some researchers who don't mind people doing that like Dave Starbuck and Alex Jones. Credit to them for that; they just want to get the message out and relinquish all copyrights to do so. I like watching things of Google vid myself too and it annoys me when a good film is taken down. But in the end it has to be the producers choice.
Putting things on Google vid doesn't necessarily reduce sales, especially when the DVD version is better quality and has lots of bonus footage. I bought the DVD of "Fastwalkers" after watching it on YouTube, so I guess you've got a point.

Unfortunately Enigma uses very few retailers or wholesalers. In fact I think David Icke Books in the only one! You certainly won't be able to order it from HMV.
They are also fairly unreliable when it comes to posting products. Twice my DVD's have been lost in the post, but in my experience Enigma are always quick to replace them and the second one has so far always arrived. But I almost went to Trading Standards about them when my copy of "Spiritworld" went missing and they didn't answer my emails. Eventually they got back in touch with me and sent me a new copy.

what I dont get is.... if people dont think a persons DVD is going to be worth the money.... if they dont think they should have to pay for it, then why do they wana see it so much??
why even download it?
