Dentistry, as a "medical" profession has not advanced much in the last few hundred years। The major change is they now give you anesthetic before ripping out a tooth or drilling holes in your mouth. Natural Hygiene practices, detailed in my upcoming book, are far more effective at preventing dental disease than anything a modern day madman can achieve.
I've long wondered what lead people to a career in dentistry, particularly pediatric dentistry. What leads people to enjoy inflicting pain?
What follows are some of the confessions of a real world dentist regarding the dangers of dentistry. Please be warned, some of this material will seem somewhat unbelievable or even shocking. Other confessions are a bit technical and can as a result take re-reading to understand....
