"Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of well-known computer security company Kaspersky Labs, is calling for an end to the anonymity of the Internet, and for the creation of mandatory 'Internet passports' for anyone who wishes to browse the Web. Says Kaspersky, 'Everyone should and must have an identification, or internet passport ... the internet was designed not for public use, but for American scientists and the US military. Then it was introduced to the public, and it was wrong ... to introduce it in the same way.' He calls anonymity 'the Internet's biggest security vulnerability' and thinks any country that doesn't follow this regime should be 'cut off.' The EFF objects, and it's likely that they won't be the only ones."

This is disgusting. One of the last few means of free speech,to anyone in the world, and they want to control that too.

Also, take a look at the news from yesterday...
DARPA has awarded a $31 million contract to megacorp Lockheed Martin which will, with some assistance from Microsoft, attempt to reinvent the Internet and make it more military-friendly. "The main thrust of the effort will be to develop a new Military Network Protocol, which will differ from old hat such as TCP/IP in that it will offer 'improved security, dynamic bandwidth allocation, and policy-based prioritization levels at the individual and unit level.' Lockheed will be partnered with Anagran, Juniper Networks, LGS Innovations, Stanford University and — of course — Microsoft in developing the MNP. Apart from that, Lockheed's own Information Systems & Global Services-Defense tentacle will work on amazing new hardware.

Ha! Chalk it down :)

Personally I'd rather everyone used Linux and to hell with Windows and AV software altogether.
I like (and trust) open source software much more than anything from m$. Not only because it's free... :)
I don't like Symantec (just about anything they have except for ghost and perhaps backup exec are sh*te), Kaspersky, AVG,Sophos,Mcafee and just about anything turned out by microshaft.
NOD32 however is a different story but give it time, they'll also get corrupted no doubt...sigh.

Why not then, create a parallel internet, servers can't be that expensive now, especially ones that were around say, five years ago, must be pretty cheap now and they didn't work tat bad then, fast enough. The connection from the computer to the outside world can't be that hard for someone with enough know-how.
If it gets too hard just leave and go it alone.

This was on the cards from the off, and is probably connected to someone in government that has a vested interest, lets face it they are 2/3rds there already, there are bias tracking processors, and a new read me all-email bill just about to go through parliament.
This is their venus project if there ever was one against the public, if you don't comply you will be denied access, like WTC7once they loose the upper hand, they are going to pull it right from underneath us, for those old enough to remember, we lost overall control of the telecommunication industry when the then GPO was sold out into private control, same goes for all public owned services, which we have the right to take back.
If we reley upon this media for all our business and transactions we will also be pulled and then be completely in the dark, but they will still be able to monitor everything that we say and do like it is today, by using the W's 3 we are telling them what we are thinking and doing before we know ourselves, the web-bot spy system is making sure of that.

its what i was saying the other day to someone on here. they already know what we are saying..
we are all being monitored and do you think they are not that sly to realise that they can monitor us...
it is only a matter of months before the new bill gets passed before the internet is goverment totally monitored. hence the new laws that have been passed...
we have no freedom of speach..do you not think once they have total rule that we will not be the first ones put in concentration camps....
just by being on here you have set your own fate..but you know what if they are reading this then they can go bollocks.take their own shots and fuck off..
they will go down.if not now eventually...good always defeats evil...and dont you know it...
