I have been rereading two books that I wrote a few years ago but never got published. I wrote both of them not knowing what esoterics were, and in many ways they were written innocently. Now that I understand estorerics for what it is I am quite gobsmacked at how esoteric life is. Anyhow I could use your advice beforre I attempt to get them published:-
1. My Autobiography. OK I am not well known, unless I talk nicely to Max Clifford or the like, but my life story is full of all sorts of stuff that can be used to explain esoterics in lay terms to people. It will need some legal checking due to the number of people that I have stood up to who may object me giving my side of the story on certain issues, but I was just wondering if you think that a detailed expose on my life, warts and all, would be of any interest or value to others. I have been peer recognised in sport, in the masonic world, and by children (ok not technically peers) so I do know that my words can touch hearts and inspire.
2. A book about the place of the human race in this century. Now I am actually quite unhappy with this book as my knowledge and understanding has progressed since I wrote it, but equally it is a good philisophical thinking ground that helped catapult me to where I am today, so I am in two minds whether to leave it or whether to bring it up to date in terms of understanding. Again on rereading it I am gobsmacked by how esoteric it is, something that I was blind to when I wrote it.
I dont expect that I will make much money from them, but they have been sitting for years now and I think that I will publish them, self-publishing if need be. There is a lot of esoterics, a fair bit on my not insubstantial interaction with the the masonic world, etc, and just wondering if people here thought that my perspective on these things would be a valuable addition to what is out there.

Of course Stewart. All info and thoughts are welcome, in my book too;)
As for me, short excerpt's would be useful.
Post away. I'll be logging off soon, but I'm interested.

You have a book Boots, excellent. What is is called?
Re excerpts I am quite happy to do this but let me check with some contacts of mine first as I am fairly sure that publishers like things that havent been published before so to speak.

Maybe a summary of your thoughts and not anything specific that relates to the book it's self. A bit like a review.
Book 2 sounds interesting as it relates to some of the topics being discussed on here.;)
PS, will read tomorrow.:)

Boots, my synopsis of book 2. remember that I wrote this at around the time of the millenium and things have progressed somewhat since then. And I may well rewrite it, chop and change before publication.
Our Place in the Twenty First century Synopsis
This book is about our very survival. It is a reflective look at the type of people we have become and about where we are going. In short this book is about you, an individual human being and how you fit into the bigger picture of life.
We start by setting the scene, from the negatives of the human race, to the wonders that lie ahead of us.
WHAT ARE WE LIKE
The first chapter looks over the good and the not so good aspects of us, the human race. A race which is far from humane, and still in puberty desperately seeking adulthood.
In the second chapter we consider the sheer ingrained extent to which lies play in our daily life, followed by a chapter on the similarly all pervasive bullying that exists in our societies.
Chapter four takes bullying a step further and explores warfare and peace, and its relevance to us today.
By now many readers will be thinking that they know what is going on and things can’t be that bad, so chapter five looks at what is perhaps the highest mountain of them all, that of our own ego.
Chapter six explores our inner self in a little more detail by asking why we must have things even when we really do not need them.
The seventh chapter begins to take the micro view of the above chapters into a more macro perspective by considering the origins and development of the human race and on towards the history of our future.
The final chapter of this part of the book, chapter eight, brigs all of the above together and asks a very simple question – so what are we like then?
ALL CHANGE IN OUR WORLD
This second part of the book, starts in chapter nine with a look at changes that are happening in our society. This is followed in chapter ten by a look at the changes in economic and political powers in our world.
Chapter eleven looks at the global trends of integration of the nations of our planet Earth, that are unfolding before us, while chapter twelve considers the sometimes spooky parallels that pervade through different aspects of our world, like invisible threads that help us find our way.
Chapter thirteen then turns back towards us, each and every one of us, including you reading this synopsis, by asking – who are we? And after answering this question chapter fourteen rounds this part of the book of by highlighting our increasing realisation of our place on this earth, and it will be a shock to many.
OUR PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE
Part three takes us towards the Universe that we are increasingly exploring, and starts with chapter fifteen which unfolds the horizon for us.
The next three chapters focus on the business opportunities that exist for us when humanity can grasp this universal perspective. Chapter sixteen looks at the core business elements of trading with other species of life, which chapter seventeen investigates the implications for individuals and businesses. Chapter eighteen looks specifically at trading issues.
The following three chapters look at the science. Chapter nineteen introduces astronomy and cosmology, chapter twenty, physics and astrophysics, followed by astrochemistry and astrobiology in chapter twenty one. Each chapter explores an area to show that the science is accessible, real and relevant, and we do need to accept it.
The following four chapter pick up where the astrobiologists are now leading, towards the mixed and muddled ufology arena. Chapter twenty two considers ufos and the general state of play, while chapter twenty three considers the conspiracies that intrigue so many. Chapter twenty four specifically considers aliens. All of this is rounded of in chapter twenty five when we are – what can I do?
Chapter twenty six considers some practical issues revolving around medicine and life in space, and chapter twenty seven, looks at what is happening in our schools and generally regarding the education of our children, or should that be their re-education regarding all of this. There are some surprises in store.
LIFE IN THE EARLY 21st CENTURY
The fourth part of this book moves from the universal perspective towards looking at life in this, the twenty first century, as we enter the dawn of a new era.
Chapter twenty eight is reflective considering what we need to learn from the twentieth century, while chapter twenty nine explores the circles of life that enable us to lead separate yet interconnected lives, all sharing the same physical space.
Chapter thirty looks at the ecological extinction that is happening around us, yet we often don’t recognise the serious implications for our own very survival of this trend.
Considering our survival we move onto look at the spiritual journey that we are all on, even if we don’t realise it, and some of the tools that exist in our societies to help us on our individual journeys are highlighted. And these tools really are hidden in plain sight ready for those who develop the eyes to see, see.
The thirty second chapter is where I put myself on the line and make predictions for what will happen in this century, based on my gut instincts.
Chapter thirty three then asks what you can do to make things better. Better for yourself and better for others, as the twenty first century progresses. Little things that everyone can do every day, which will make the world of a difference.
This final part of the book concludes with chapter thirty four, which asks – does it all really matter?
APPENDICES
My first appendix details a mathematical equation that businesses and social organisations can use to help them make decisions relating to some of the matters I this book.
The second appendix is a survey asking readers what they think.
Appendix three is a brief autobiography of me highlighting some of the lessons that I have learnt in my life so far, which has been written in a way that I hope will help readers open their own minds and learn more.
The fourth appendix is a straight copy of the United Nations Millennium declaration, which offers a great deal of hope at the powers that be level, that should inspire each and every one of us to do what we can. The last time that I checked with the UN, I was told that this was a copyright free document and could be used. Though clearly this would need to be rechecked before publication in case things have changed.
Appendix five lists some simple precepts that if we can do more often will make such a difference to us all.
The sixth appendix is a blueprint for a United States of Earth, which is the culmination of millennia of tribes forming into nations, combining into trading groupings, the US and EU, and indeed the UN. It is only my thoughts of how this trend could complete.
The final appendix simply illustrates how you can find out more.

A quick laugh for you all.
I am rereading for teh first time in years my autobiography before sending it off onthe submission trawl. In there is a comment from a well respected UGLE mason who the ugle masons here will know and I would guess respect. I quoted him saying on a masonic forum back in 2005 that I would be "UGLEs ultimate challenge".
