no. she was probably more terrified than all of us put together. There's nothing stronger in the world than the love between a mother and her child. It was just an accident. Shit happens.

she let go of the pram for one second................. pram rolles into the trains path.
i wouldn't let go of my lovely little pussy cat for one second.
am i over protective? full of fear?
scary thoughts. i would never let go of a pram if i had a kiddy... when it is obvious that the train is coming to the platform... how could you miss the noise of a train?
the 6monthold baby will be traumatised for the rest of it's life, and the mother ... i dunno.
a shock video...
i look after my beautiful little cat far more than humans look after their babies.
FFS, if you have a child , and they are your first priority,, how on earth - when you can see the train coming, - would you let go of the pram?
EVER !!!
... THIS is just another thing , like the 6year kid called Falcon, in the "balloon/UFO, shaped thing ",
only at the same time.
wake up,
to me, it is the same thing.

i've not watched the link footage.
But as any driver will be aware, pushchairs are the first things into the road when a mother is crossing, before they even look, often. They step out into the road, and then they look - and the poor little ones are the ones in danger.
This often happens as they step out from between parked cars, out comes the pushchair and then the mum stops, as though her safety field is the same as someone without a pushchair, they need to think around that, and think around the pushchair, many do, but equally many don't, the pushchair doesn't seem to come into their own private safety space, and mums really need to get this in check.

damm i felt sick watching that, stupid women...
no not stupid at all, just a freak accident,as you can see she took her hands of cart for 1 sec to pull up her pants....thats all it takes, the incline of the walway carried the momentum of the carrige downwards, she quickly reacted, while also slippy out of sheer fear i would have to assume, and bang over.
her body language says it all after that..
i am ,as a father feeling sadden for this women, because i know that she will never live this down and she now will become one of,if not the most over protective mother that ever walked the planet, and this child will suffer for it..
but i would not blame her,and hopefully she will get the help she will need to overcome this accident....
stupid no !
not even a mistake by her, just a freak series of events in her life and her childs.

From watching it and seeing the mother's subsequent body language, i would say it was a good job she did slip when she realised the pram had moved and fell because she showed all the signs that if she had not slipped, she would have been right in there after the baby and would have been killed.
Its amazing that it turned out as it did.
Sickening to watch for sure but an accident i doubt she will ever get over.

No baby in buggy. You never see the baby. They always show the rescued person. Even in the fake UFO balloon abduction you get to see the child afterwards. Its a bit like Schrodingers cat. The baby dont exist if it is never shown to us. Another fake story in the media. Staged. Was the train even real, or was it full of hot air, like an UFO* shaped balloon.
* is this an exception to the no use of just the word a in front of a vowel. It don't sound right, to say an UFO, even so, a UFO seems right. Is this due to it being an acronym, and so does this mean that, the grammatical rule of using an, and not a, in front of vowels dont apply?

Yeah, I like the way its just a day after some saftey initiative is launched. But having said that, if real, I do not blame her for what happened, and feel very sorry for her, everyone who has kids, has horrible nightmares and terrible thoughts about things happening to their children, so im sure she will punish herself far more than needed.

Baby hit by train and survives - video released
CCTV footage of a baby's miracle escape when a pram was slammed by a peak-hour train has been released.
Witnesses at a suburban Melbourne station feared the worst but were stunned when the six-month-boy was hauled from the tracks with little more than a bump on his head.
The near-miss happened at Ashburton station as a city-bound train pulled into the station just after 4pm yesterday.
The baby was strapped into a three-wheeler pram that rolled forward and toppled on to the tracks.
The pram was carried 30 metres as the desperate driver tried to pull up the 250-tonne train. It ploughed into the pram at about 35km/h, dragging the child along beneath the front carriage.
Witnesses watched in horror, fearing the baby had no hope.
But he was safely back in his mother's arms when ambulance officers arrived minutes later.
Ambulance Victoria intensive care paramedic Jon Wright said the distraught baby bounced back with just a bump to the side of the head.
"Apparently he needed a feed and a nap," he said.
The near-tragedy follows a spate of dangerous incidents involving prams on Melbourne's rail network.
It came just days after Connex and Kidsafe warned parents to be more vigilant, particularly when using popular three-wheel prams.
Mr Wright said the narrow escape showed how careful parents have to be.
"Luckily he was strapped into his pram at the time, which probably saved his life. I think the child's extremely lucky," he said.
"Fortunately the train was slowing as it pulled into the station," Mr Wright said.
"It's a good learning point for parents to ensure that children are securely strapped into whatever transport medium they're in, be that a car seat or a pram."
The baby was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital and released last night.
A police spokeswoman described the escape as amazing.
"This could have been so much worse. We're very thankful," she said.
The accident forced trains to be suspended on the Alamein line, causing major delays to travellers.
Spokesman John Rees said Connex was investigating how the pram rolled off the platform on to the tracks.
Police will use the video in their investigation.
Mr Rees said the driver would be offered counselling.
"We are grateful this has not ended in a fatality," he said.

Glad I did a search on this one :p Definitely thread-worthy...
You can actually feel the vibrations of despair and horror emanating from her :( I don't care how stupid everyone in the world thinks she is - watching that was punishment enough for her.
