I've seen it all man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091015/ap_on_re_us/us_interracial_rebuff
NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might have. Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.
"I'm not a racist. I just don't believe in mixing the races that way,"
SORRY BUT THAT'S THE MOST RACIST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!!!
Bardwell told the Associated Press on Thursday. "I have piles and piles of black friends. They come to my home, I marry them, they use my bathroom. I treat them just like everyone else."
Bardwell said he asks everyone who calls about marriage if they are a mixed race couple. If they are, he does not marry them, he said.
Bardwell said he has discussed the topic with blacks and whites, along with witnessing some interracial marriages. He came to the conclusion that most of black society does not readily accept offspring of such relationships, and neither does white society, he said.
"There is a problem with both groups accepting a child from such a marriage," Bardwell said. "I think those children suffer and I won't help put them through it."
If he did an interracial marriage for one couple, he must do the same for all, he said.
"I try to treat everyone equally," he said.
Bardwell estimates that he has refused to marry about four couples during his career, all in the past 2 1/2 years.
Beth Humphrey, 30, and 32-year-old Terence McKay, both of Hammond, say they will consult the U.S. Justice Department about filing a discrimination complaint.
Humphrey, an account manager for a marketing firm, said she and McKay, a welder, just returned to Louisiana. She is white and he is black. She plans to enroll in the University of New Orleans to pursue a masters degree in minority politics.
"That was one thing that made this so unbelievable," she said. "It's not something you expect in this day and age."
Humphrey said she called Bardwell on Oct. 6 to inquire about getting a marriage license signed. She says Bardwell's wife told her that Bardwell will not sign marriage licenses for interracial couples. Bardwell suggested the couple go to another justice of the peace in the parish who agreed to marry them.
"We are looking forward to having children," Humphrey said. "And all our friends and co-workers have been very supportive. Except for this, we're typical happy newlyweds."
"It is really astonishing and disappointing to see this come up in 2009," said American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana attorney Katie Schwartzmann. She said the Supreme Court ruled in 1967 "that the government cannot tell people who they can and cannot marry."
The ACLU sent a letter to the Louisiana Judiciary Committee, which oversees the state justices of the peace, asking them to investigate Bardwell and recommending "the most severe sanctions available, because such blatant bigotry poses a substantial threat of serious harm to the administration of justice."
"He knew he was breaking the law, but continued to do it," Schwartzmann said.
According to the clerk of court's office, application for a marriage license must be made three days before the ceremony because there is a 72-hour waiting period. The applicants are asked if they have previously been married. If so, they must show how the marriage ended, such as divorce.
Other than that, all they need is a birth certificate and Social Security card.
The license fee is $35, and the license must be signed by a Louisiana minister, justice of the peace or judge. The original is returned to the clerk's office.
"I've been a justice of the peace for 34 years and I don't think I've mistreated anybody," Bardwell said. "I've made some mistakes, but you have too. I didn't tell this couple they couldn't get married. I just told them I wouldn't do it."

Who's winning the 'Race'.
Nobody should be winning but the human race!!!
Sorry i came home from work and i've been drinking so im on the roll right now. Posted this on my facebook and alot of people are fucking bugging over this article...
This is what i posted as a response to a few people. A few of you people might really hate me after this but fuck it. All true:
Yup, i'm both black and white and i would never want to be any other way. Shit i don't even want to be one race. That shit is boring ;)
But in all honesty, the powers that be/ white ruling class trick us all into thinking we are the minority when we are the majority. Whites are the minority and have people believe that. TPTB are afraid that the white race will be wiped off the map in the next 150 to 200 years. With their true reptilian bullshit bloodlines. Once they are gone there is no coming back. Even Albinos couldn't save the white/aryan/race.
Like the slave masters on the plantation tried to wipe the black race out by raping their women. But guess what, no matter how many generations, we still have that dominate/black gene you can never fucking get rid of!!!
I don't look at race, so i don't know why people still argue over a color. We will never move along as a being and enlighten and evolve ourselves with this thinking!!!
I'M HUMAN MUTHAFUCKAAAAAAAA

Nice post Real6. I'm just boring white, with both parents from the same town. It would be cooler to be mixed, at least from two different cultures and bi-lingual to begin with, but nah.
What sucks is uniformity. Infinite diversity in infinite combinations. The only bad thing about racial mixing is that one day if all the races keep mixing together, there would be only one race. That would be major suckage.

Just speaking from the heart. I never look at a persons color. I look and their character. Only a racist 'does not matter color/race/greed/religion' would/will be angry at my words.
Nah it wouldn't be cooler to be mixed. It would be cooler if we could all get along, no wars, just peace. that's all :)
And on the we will all be the same, not true at all. We will all have are defined features from the continent of where we are from for many generations unless thei jumped ship out their own country!!!
LET ME SHUT UP!!!

Diversity respects all the colours, right, all the human variations. Even Whites.
You have a problem with White people, that is plain to see, you have been around here long enough to know who the bad guys are.
You've been on the ale, so i'll leave it at that.

You know who controls western governments.
Have you seen this information?
In this brilliant foray into the hidden dimensions of the chronicle of black servitude, Tony Martin, professor of African History at Wellesley College, lectures on the role of Judaics in the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, and the impact of racist rabbinic texts on the formation of the contemptuous view of Africans which led to the justification of their enslavement. Dr. Martin's speech is introduced by Michael A. Hoffman II who provides insight on recent scholarly developments concerning the "Curse of Ham."

He's telling the truth though. I even say it myself. Juts never on the forum. The illuminati's foundation is white supremacists. Isn't them joining the military to kill muslims for "god's chosen people" the jews? Whites are shouldering the NWO movement the same way blacks carried the Civil Rights Movement. It's just the blacks don't regret what they have done. Whites go sooo far and then always regret what they have done later. For example, sending jobs to China. Now the Chinese pocket the bank to become a superpower and now the Chinese are so bad. When whites can't beat anyone they buy them out, which directly expand the development of forming the NWO. At the end of the day the civilian rally for these achievements only help corporations and business which are largely in league like the thousands of jews that escaped the World Trade Centers. Wasn't just the Illuminati & Jews. They couldn't have done it without their W.A.S.P.

Deca must have read fast, because i'm talking about the upper power that rule us. Not us normal folks. But i can see where you are coming from how i worded it. These are the people that need to be stopped. Never understood why everyone can't get together and just stop this madness? This shit just is so funny sometimes how people hate over a color. I never understood that shit man. But it also has to do where we grew up also and our parents. That's another factor, weather you are born in a melting pot like New York City or a midland in middle America or from Wales or India or Tokyo...

Justice stands by refusal to give interracial couple license to wed

A justice of the peace in Louisiana who has drawn widespread criticism for refusing to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple says he has no regrets about his decision.

"It's kind of hard to apologize for something that you really and truly feel down in your heart you haven't done wrong," Keith Bardwell told CNN affiliate WAFB on Saturday.
Bardwell, a justice of the peace for Tangipahoa Parish's 8th Ward, refused to issue a marriage license to Beth Humphrey, 30, and her boyfriend, Terence McKay, 32, both of Hammond.
Bardwell's actions have elicited reactions from some top officials, including Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who called for Bardwell's dismissal.
"This is a clear violation of constitutional rights and federal and state law. ... disciplinary action should be taken immediately -- including the revoking of his license," the Republican governor said Friday.
Bardwell has not returned repeated calls from CNN this week. But he told Hammond's Daily Star in a story Thursday that he did not marry the couple because he was concerned for the children who might be born of the relationship and that, in his experience, most interracial marriages don't last.

"I'm not a racist," Bardwell told the newspaper. "I do ceremonies for black couples right here in my house. My main concern is for the children." Bardwell, stressing that he couldn't personally endorse the marriage, said his wife referred the couple to another justice of the peace. Video Watch why justice says he nixed interracial marriage »
Humphrey and McKay received their marriage license October 9 from another justice of the peace in the same parish. They have reached out to an attorney to determine their next step, Humphrey said.
"We would like him to resign," Beth McKay said. "He doesn't believe he's being racist, but it is racist."
The National Urban League called for an investigation into the incident by the U.S. Justice Department's Civil Rights Division, saying in a statement that Bardwell's actions were "a huge step backward in social justice."

According to the Census Bureau, Tangipahoa Parish is about 70 percent white and 30 percent black.
The U.S. Supreme Court tossed out any racially-based limitations on marriage in the landmark 1967 Loving v. Virginia case. In the unanimous decision, the court said that "Under our Constitution, the freedom to marry, or not marry, a person of another race resides with the individual and cannot be infringed by the State."

In an ideal world (or maybe a ‘nightmare world’ for some), two people from whichever background would come together and no-one would really care about their race is, only if they are right for each other. And it does happen. There are interracial couples that have strong, long standing relationships where there’s a genuine reciprocal love.
Nonetheless, I see a huge rate of failed mixed relationships between black and white couples (others too, but let's deal with black and white). There are also successes, yes. Yet undeniably there’s a large failure rate that can't be just put down as 'blips'. And many times you find children left without parents when the relationship breaks down.
I think the legacy of slavery, colonialism and the destroying of the ancient cultures by the predominantly white elite left a huge shadow and scar in the way that African and European people have interacted with each other. Both collectively and one-to-one interaction. A lot of healing has happened over time as well, of course.
Yet most black and white people aren’t aware of this history. Particularly those who go into relationships with each other. This makes for cultural differences kick in that can undermine the relationship. Subtle differences in how each person sees things culturally, politically etc. Sometimes, there’s also external dynamics possibly from in-laws/extended families on both sides who AREN’T so accepting and are even hostile, can't be underestimated.
Does that mean that a couple should bow to those pressures? No. If two people are aware of these dynamics and are honest enough to address them, these challenges can be met. But oftentimes there's no awareness. Couples of the same ethnic background have many challenges and differences anyway, that’s part of what a relationship is. When there are two polarised cultures/social experiences coming together, it’s no wonder that those challenges can be insurmountable.
Are these the concerns of the JP? I don't know. But I think we should be free in this world to raise these points without the stigma of being accused of being racist. I don’t agree with prohibitions but, given the pattern of failed interracial relationships I’ve seen on many occasions, I would simply say go into it open eyed to prevent adding to those stats. After all, relationships aren’t like 70s Coca cola ads.
