I got the term from listening to Alan Watt. :) Actually he said Anglo-American and then another term which I don't remember. The picture I got in my mind was that there was an Anglo-American block which was not the same as the European block. UK has pound sterling, not euro. Sweden (although not Anglo-American) has krona, not euro. I have noticed that on this forum not many members come from countries with the euro as their currency.
