I know where a big one will hit in the medium term, a really big one. the middle of the Mississippi and the Eastern Mediterranean.

I'm sorry, as a predictor the guy is just as vague and full of generalisms as the next doomsayer.
Now, if he was to give a prediction for 12 months ahead, for a specific location, specific time, for a specific disaster to occur, then I would sit up and take notice and be curious. I myself could predict a earthquake of above 7.0 mag to occur near Indonesia in the next 6 months, and most probably be proved generalistically correct. It doesn't mean I am a psychic or a prophet, it's because I know scientifically that that region is the most volcanic and earthquake active region in the world, and the odds of a volcanic or earthquake event occurring in that region are quite high.

Even if you could predict future events. So what? Doesn't make you a good person or a good positive spiritual model..... just means you have demonic beings whispering the future in your ear...
So what? Keep it buddy, if you'd managed to prevent the earthquake then I'd believe in you.
