I just saw an episode of a show called "Chop Socky Chooks" on Cartoon Network, and the symbolism in the show blew me away.
In this particular episode we get to follow the main heroes, and get this.. Their mission this time is to defeat the evil reptile overworld who is hypnotizing the people to get to them.
The reptile leader, who even hypnotizes and kicks the main villains ass, one time drops a line that goes something like this "We have to create a diversion for the people so they are busy and then we can get to Chop Socky". He hypnotizes the people with the eyes of the giant reptile sculpture he raises to watch over the whole city.
When the main hero tries to defeat him he shapeshifts into a child so the hero can't attack him, then fights him.
Other interesting symbology in this episode was a scene when the guards of the city, the followers of the normal evil leader, tazers the whole hero gang and tells them to comform etc, very interesting.
Of course in the end the heroes defeat the reptile leader and hypnotizes the people with the tower not to attack the people.
I saw one all seeing eye showed in the episode and when the people was hypnotized the reptile tower was shown on a screen that was shaped as a pyramid.
I wish I could remember more exact lines etc.. I will check the calender and see when they show a replay of this episode and I will record it on my camera and analyze it good.
Not the first time I see obvious symbolism and stuff that are meant to warped the minds of children to accept certain things, but this was in your face.

Found this info on the reptile-guy on wiki:
Kobi/Kobura: An cobra-like creature who was Chuckie Chan's rival since before the show's history. According to his master, Kobi is bad-tempered. After he was bitten by cobras, he changed into an insane, merciless megalomaniac and for this reason, was banished forever (he also has a fork in his tongue). Soon, years later, Kobi becomes a powerful snake-like being with the ability to possess great strength, control cobras, and deadly venom that will explode a person's heart by sunset. The Chooks were poisoned by Kobura and his snakes and attempt to find the cure before sundown. When they were finally cured, Kobura lunges toward K.O. Joe only to fall off a tower where his final battle with Chuckie took place. Despite this however, he seemed to survive and returned to destroy Chuckie again. This time, he revealed the Chop Socky Chooks secret identities and appears to be able to hypnotize people. This attempt failed as well though. Kobura is shown to be even more intelligent and ruthless than Doctor Wasabi while his voice appears to be a parody of John Hurt's.
The main villain is this guy:
Dr. Wasabi: An evil Swiss-accented piranha made of wasabi paste (as his name suggests) who is the main villain of the series. He's the owner of Wasabi World, the main arch-enemy of the Chop Socky Chooks and the leader of the ninja chimp army. He was responsible for bulldozing people's houses, especially Chick P's house, in order to build Wasabi World, which shows his selfishness. His catchphrase is "Ninja chimps!". He plans to sell the Chooks as criminals (and rename them the Chop Socky Crooks), and in "Karaoke Zombies", he planned to sell the Chooks as punching bags (and rename them the Chop Socky Chumps). In "If Looks Can Kill", Dr. Wasabi was shown to have the ability to multiply, though that was only an illusion caused by Deadeye. In "In Your Dreams", he has a fear of being cut up by a sushi maker. In "Down the Drain" his origin is revealed. He was once a pet fish named Fishy Poo living in a fish tank, but his owner flushed him down the toliet for being bossy.
