Theres no such thing as proof. You can't prove anything really. It all boils down to belief in the end. Michael Talbot writes some interesting things about UFO's in the holographic universe.
But then who knows? who really does know?

Unless you want to get into the whole it "just being a figment of our imaginations" thing, which is a load of fuckin' bullshit in my opinion!

I think it was einstien that said the more precisely you try and measure someting the more inaccurate it becomes, its true if you bear in mind that everything is in flux (also anothoer famous quote) because of electrons, atoms and the world moving. also the fact that objects never actually touch each other the electromagnetic repulsion alway leaves a tiny gap between everything. so even if you caught and alien in your shed you could alway doubt it was human etc, the fact is the universe is massive its unlikely there isnt ET's weather or not the ufo sigtings are human or ET is a different story however its strange that there is a concensus on the the ''grey'' form by many 'abductees'

Of course not! They are U-FOs, so thus no proof of anything otherwise they would be IFOs.
Are there such things as UFOs? I believe so.
Are some of them alien (for want of a better word)? I BELIEVE so but have no proof.
I also believe that we have the technology to build these craft and probably many that are seen are from our military forces. There are many sightings in central Australia. What is in central Australia? The US underground base of Pine Gap, Australia's Area 51! hmmmm! Could be alien, could be the military or could be both.

I agree with I_am.......I'd possibly go a little further and say the vast majority of UFOs are more likely than not our own planet's 'hidden technology' (from secret 'black budget' projects AKA military-industrial-complex), but I too feel that this probably doesn't account for all UFO sightings.
I have no proof either....just a feeling in my bones ;)

I do believe that we have our own UFOs flying around Earth. UFOs that humans know about and fly in. Where we have the technology from, and who else might be flying around in UFOs? Real proof of anything is so hard to come by in this age of illusions of so many kinds. Anything can be faked or done with CGI. Computers can be a hoax explanation for just about everything, and especially since computers are so good at making hoax, there is alot of hoaxs made mostly on computers.
Edited: I did not believe in UFOs before comming to this forum, but after comming here, I have read stuff that made me remember previous events more clearly. Unexplainable events became alot more explainable... hard to explain. But when we see something that we do not believe to be true, we have a tendancy to forget or ignore it. It is a basic defence mechanism in our mind.

I used to believe in Alien abductions. I don't anymore, I think it's humans abducting humans.
UFO's I've seen many, but only the ones that look like shooting stars, doesn't mean it's aliens though. never like the ones in the movies. with red, green, blue lights and shiny disc things.

What illusion?
UFO means Unidentified Flying Object, as someone pointed out, and as everybody knows but some people tend to forget.
Unidentified is the important word, and the reason they are unidentified is the meat of this thread. To some people, unidentified = alien, and that's rubbish.

Ya, I know what you're saying, but keep in mind that most people here believe 'everything' is just an illusion(not me). I was just curious to see what people think about aliens and how 'real' they believe they are in an environment of illusion......

i think you're thinking of the word 'illusion' in the wrong way.
what is meant by the word (i believe) is that what we see is a creation of the infinite mind. things are built with ideas. nothing is 'physical' in terms of how most people would interpret the word, and to quote bill hicks, 'we are the imagination of ourselves'
