id rather like to hook up some dance music artists to put an audio project together consisting only tracks with the use of spoken word samples as a vehicle to further the message we all hope to share.
this would be absolutley not for profit.
i have exceptional contacts including some heavyweight drum and bass artists, record distribution(independant of course)and could get on the shelves of all the independant shops and hmv.drum and bass is my area of expertise and in this market i can get all the editorial/pr interest.
not sure if it will go ahead yet but i do feel it is a bit of a belter. and what a life exerience and contribution this project could be.
would anyone like to get involved?do any of you have any ideas for the samples/spoken word content?do any of you produce music or do you have freinds that do?
what do we think folks?
scrutiny invited too

Hey this sounds great!!! I would love to help you out!!I have some exp with sony soundforge,I use this program to make jingles for my radio show.I am having some kind of artisitc block though and I havent been able to come up with anything new as of late though.
There are 1000's of great sounds in this area that would make for samples.
I found this a while back..its not a great song, but I love the way is done.

I make all kinds of music and this might be fun little project. Seeing as you're into DNB I'll post an example of one of my tracks, no 'conspiracy' samples in it though and I do have some good samples I've been meaning to incorporate, but it should give you the jist on my vibe.

Great Idea, you might want to check out the "forum talent" thread here (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5991), there are a lot of very creative people on this forum, good luck :)

I can program some wicked cool midi arrangements to be used in the song if someone has a synth or reason to put the notes through and make them sound cool

hey scott there was an old pirate radio station in my area called dimension fm and they had some amazing dj's they also had some songs that sampled bill hicks (the commedian).
I've got the bloke who run its hotmail and he can hook you up, only trouble is i dont know how many of the dj's know about david icke/ current state of the conspiracy.
the station has some of the old sets archived and availible for streaming..

Here's another track, but I only post it here as an example of how you might incorporate a sample into a track as it includes Bill Hicks. This tune in no way represents my music as a whole and is just shown for demo purposes only because I'm not happy with it and it's only shown because it has a "conspiracy" element to it:

exactumundo my friend.also consider this, people are at the point of most suggestion in clubs all over the country after about midnight due to the culture of recreational drug use and the time they take them and the time they start to kick in.music in clubs is progressive and the music gets harder as the night goes on working towards a peak in line with this priciple.now you design your beats for prime time with a message and make sure the music goes to all the right club djs and your now talking directley to the masses,in popular club culture all over the place .....at the point of most suggestion.
i think this is a far under rated ,under used medium of huge potential.and the best thing is its an industry dominated by independant record labels so by the time the other side clock it they will not have time to react(presumably by trying to buy up all the labels)before the message is out.
in fact no need to be a label at all just produce white labels sell em direct to the distributors.
ha ha best bit is give all the money to a good cause or reinvest in new artists that would not normally get the opportunity, but the message is out .....BOOM
bit done ,jobs a good un

No, not at the moment - I was thinking of doing my own label but it's a lot of work when you're making music and running everything else but I'll just go with the flow and see what happens. :)

Ye right midnight onwards is when my thought processes and creativity have always kicked in so makes sense , the white lable idea is wicked reminds me of the rasta culture pressing their own discs and distributing them to retain control all down the line gets the pure message out there .Embodies the punk ethic of do it yourself and has a message to .:D
