It is a masterpiece. A totally original work. One of the greatest games ever created.

Ah fresh new First-person shooter, Adventure, Action RPG, Survival horror game. I like those... This one really does look interesting...
About
“After your plane crashes into icy uncharted waters, you discover a rusted bathysphere and descend into Rapture, a city hidden beneath the sea. Constructed as an idealistic society for a hand picked group of scientists, artists and industrialists, the idealism is no more. Now the city is littered with corpses, wildly powerful guardians roam the corridors as little girls loot the dead, and genetically mutated citizens ambush you at every turn.”
Graphic hungry one too:

I finished the game and what a refreshing experience, totally fantastic. The storyline is superb, the gameplay and graphics are the best around - indeed a masterpiece.
Can't wait to do it all again.

I did it on the Xbox 360 and didn't encounter any bugs at all, that I noticed - I don't know about the PC version.
If you play it and use the revival chamber thingy's (you die get reconstructed and whatever you were battling retains the damage you did) then you can't actually lose and I imagine that would make the game very easy. I did it the old fashioned way, I didn't use the chambers at all, just my own savepoints. On medium difficulty, first time through it was perfection in terms of a challenge and gameplay, I can't wait to start it all again on the Hardest difficulty :D
