"White House officials rejected repeated requests from Britain for a formal meeting between President Barack Obama and Gordon Brown, it has emerged."

Full Story (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8272061.stm)

I just love how No. 10 aides are trying to pass off the story as 'absurd'. Maybe Mr. Brown could pass the time instead by watching some of the DVDs Obama got him?

he's the dollars
he's my protection
Yeah he's a promise
In the year of election
Oh "sister", I can't let you go
Like a preacher stealing hearts
At a traveling show
For love or money money money
money money money money money
money money money
And the fever, getting higher
Desire, desire, desire, desire
Desire, desire

I love it. Britain stands by America through thick and thin and then simply by America gaining a new president the 'special relationship' takes to the back door. LOL.

Can't help but laugh.
