I've been interested in the truth about our existance and our true identity for several years - including the conspiracy that it all seems to entail. Now as we approach an apparently critical period (i.e. 2012) what are people's feelings about our current situation..........is something big really going to happen, and if it doesnt, where does that leave us.

Good point SoGlad. We all-together influence the way our future un-folds, not purely a star-calendar developed in antiquity. I just hope enough people realise this before 'time runs out'.

We are still slightly affected though, even if it's only a belief of a few. Also we must contend with Bible believing Christianity. If the majority believes in shit like, Revelations end of day's apocalypse; then that's exactly what we'll get.

End of time? People see what they want to see. End of an age or a time? End of the mayans time? End of what time?

So many things are lost in translation, when read of several thousand years old stone tablets :) I have always wondered why there are so many doomsday prophecies... I guess it is mostly because people feel the world is changing too much compared to how the world was. If you read how people in 1700 or 1400 looked on the future... ;) Alot like we do today. Maybe something special will happen in 2012 or somewhere near that time. Trouble is this date might have been a calculation error on someones part. Did the Mayans really have such an exact timing system? We cannot really know for sure that it compares to our 2012. Especially since we keep readjusting our current calender and time, to match that of our solar system :rolleyes:

It will be around the end of the age of Pisces and the beginning of Aquarius. We don't know if it is in that specific year - they changed the calendars so much in the last 1000 years. Pisces is the last sign so that means that we would be at the end of the galactic cycle - a galactic year in other words which takes 250million earth years. Talk about once in a blue moon - these facts in itself makes it very important.

The Denderah works on more or less the same time scale as the Mayan Calendar, but focus more on the path of consciousness of humanity and the earth. It focuses on the Galactic centre and the consciousness/ Archetypal frequency it sends us.
Then apart from the amazing alignment of planets, the sun will also be in galactic centre – which is also huge.

The main turmoil will not be on the planet, but in humans as the Age of Aquarius will be an age of revealing and rebellion. The intensity of the sun being in galactic centre will bring enormous higher consciousness in that we can either link into or go crazy like the people who think this world is only a 3 dimensional realm. They will be confused as to what to believe if more and more are revealed, in themselves the world and even in people on top and around them. I think I was lucky to be taught about our planets "chacras" or what they are called, and the era or aeon of the pisces. Seems many people believe in this change from pisches to the next age. I guess I do as well. Will be exciting to see what happens, but Im not sure what to expect yet. Maybe wars, maybe meteor storms, maybe peace on Earth... maybe everything and more?

Could be just nothing unusual at all :) Only time and future events can tell I guess. Not sure what to make of it yet.
