Climate change negligence will lead to 'benign genocide'

An alliance of the world's small island states have issued a joint plea to global leaders to take drastic measures to combat climate change or be complicit in what they say is "benign genocide".
Leaders from the island states of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, the Caribbean and Mediterranean Seas have met in New York ahead of the UN summit of world leaders on climate change.
The islands have issued a communique in which they have demanded global financing for adaptation and mitigation.
The statement also calls for the average rise in global temperatures to be kept below one and a half degrees Celsius, rather than the two degree limit that many countries are aiming for.
The alliance's chairman, Grenada Prime Minister Tillman Thomas, says the states are gravely concerned for their survival.
"We're already being threatened," he said.
"What I'm saying is that those who are really concerned about humanity and about survival, would they just sit back and permit countries to disappear?
"It is really an ethical question we are faced with now. A failure to act is sort of really a benign genocide in a sense."

i for one agree... we could do without all the night games as we did in the past....

it is only in recent times that night games has become so populer... this being as it is one of the biggest money making things the NWO has. not to mention a way to break up familys and create chaos in homes in order to get people to go to things like gambling counselling...
just more mass control from the NWO, keep those systems running.

and if they can create polution problems at the same time all the more power to them... not like they did not know useing so much resorces to keep things like nights games running would eventually create some adverse affects on the world.

You will never get rid of night sports because it has become the moderm Coliseum to thousands. They would rather rant at the sport than burn off their energy by digging in the yard etc. I don't have a mobile phone and have not watched TV for about 10 years. There is a sound in the TV that just gives me the sh*ts regardless of what is on. Maybe ELF, who knows? PPl are a bit gobsmacked about that because it's their life. We have decided to never again buy a modern car that relies on electronic gadgets because they cost a fortune for whole components instead of a few $$ for the little bit that cacked itself. I have had a gut full of being blamed for wastefulness when very often we cannot choose to buy economical amounts of goods. Hardware shops are the worst. Dishwashers IMO are one of the filthiest appliances ever to be inflicted on humanity. If you don't do a clean cycle every few days they stink despite the 10+pH of the detergent. While I am on a rant people should chuck out their microwave as well. What a way to destroy good food and consequently your body as well - nobody should be that busy that they cannot prepare healthy food for themselves. Rant over, thank you for reading :)

well that is a entire difernt thing... as this is something that happens naturaly every so often or somthing. "dont quate me on the times it has done it in the past"

just that they have been happening all the time since known history... that is solor activity i am talking about.

now there is some that are saying it is 'increasing' in intensity.

and then there is those that are saying it is not.

well imo i am still half and half on it all as it could just be anouther NWO thing to distract the people from what is really going on.

Just seen red skies over Sydney and heard of earth quakes in Victoria , bushfires in Queensland and its raining cats and dogs in Perth (plus freezing cold).

Well people are saying to me this is what WA was like in the late 60s-early seventies. Lots of rain in September but come November, old "indian" summers ie stinking hot. But that is Oz, land of flood and drought. It has been for the last few hundred years and probably would be for the next.

There is no doubt that the news services have taken this crusade to sickening heights. Tonight SBS news had some reporter claiming that the Sydney dust was due to man made emissions. Does not matter what happens, they blame AGW. I am waiting for them to blame AGW on the earth quakes.

I have seen enough articles to see the suppression of any skeptic to AGW and the promotion of anything that pushes the IPCC agenda.

Whats the use?? I had some woman harping on about the polar bears on Sunday. They are all dying she said.

The MSM has a lot to answer for.

YES! F1 and most car raseing that is done on such large scale....

i am all for a bit of "Rev head" fun... i love getting out on a farm with a old "paddock basher" BUT........

i do not like to see raceing events where ther is more focus on the merchandise and the all the rest of it that goes along with the race days..

need to get back to "grass roots" racing... where it was all about the passion of the CARS!!!!!!! and the people that drive them.
