A MAN who claims he can't remember killing four family members has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Nathaniel Dickson, 20, pleaded guilty to the murders which took place in Anderson County, South Carolina, about a year and a half ago.
The court heard that for nearly two weeks after the killings, Dickson recounted the murders. But his lawyers argued that Dickson seemed to have suffered “dissociative amnesia” and no longer recalled the crime.
Prosecutor Cindy Adams said the confession matched physical evidence, right down to how many times the victims were shot.
Dickson had been arrested hours after the killings - spending the time before police found him riding quad bikes with a friend.
His confession, read to the court, detailed said how he woke up and saw a shotgun in a closet. The killing began when he shot his stepmother, Maritza Dickson, while she was in bed talking to her daughter.
Dickson's stepsister, 19-year-old Jiliam Salazar, was killed after running into the kitchen screaming. His brother, Taylor was next. Dickson shot him twice before firing a final shot as Taylor was sprawled across a chair crying for help.
Dickson's father was out of the house when the killings began. He was first shot in the backyard, then in the front yard, afte he had phoned 911. Judge Cordell Maddox said it was the "most unexplained and despicable (case) that I’ve ever seen", according to the Pickens Sentinel (http://www.pickenssentinel.com/pages/full_story/push?article-Dickson+pleads+guilty+of+murder+of+4+family+member s%20&id=3670575-Dickson+pleads+guilty+of+murder+of+4+family+member s&instance=home_news_lead).
He said most of the people he had encountered during his career as a judge didn't seem to be evil people.
"I think you’re one of the rare people that’s just a bad person who did a horrible thing, and you need to be locked up the rest of your life," he told Dickson.

so what made him do it?
mind controlled, possesed what ever else.....
or is it just like the judge said "I think you’re one of the rare people that’s just a bad person who did a horrible thing, and you need to be locked up the rest of your life"
