Man jailed for life for murders
Unexplained killing of family
Now claims amnesia

A MAN who claims he can't remember killing four family members has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Nathaniel Dickson, 20, pleaded guilty to the murders which took place in Anderson County, South Carolina, about a year and a half ago.
The court heard that for nearly two weeks after the killings, Dickson recounted the murders. But his lawyers argued that Dickson seemed to have suffered “dissociative amnesia” and no longer recalled the crime.
Prosecutor Cindy Adams said the confession matched physical evidence, right down to how many times the victims were shot.
Dickson had been arrested hours after the killings - spending the time before police found him riding quad bikes with a friend.
His confession, read to the court, detailed said how he woke up and saw a shotgun in a closet. The killing began when he shot his stepmother, Maritza Dickson, while she was in bed talking to her daughter.

Dickson's stepsister, 19-year-old Jiliam Salazar, was killed after running into the kitchen screaming. His brother, Taylor was next. Dickson shot him twice before firing a final shot as Taylor was sprawled across a chair crying for help.

Dickson's father was out of the house when the killings began. He was first shot in the backyard, then in the front yard, afte he had phoned 911. Judge Cordell Maddox said it was the "most unexplained and despicable (case) that I’ve ever seen", according to the Pickens Sentinel (http://www.pickenssentinel.com/pages/full_story/push?article-Dickson+pleads+guilty+of+murder+of+4+family+member s%20&id=3670575-Dickson+pleads+guilty+of+murder+of+4+family+member s&instance=home_news_lead).
He said most of the people he had encountered during his career as a judge didn't seem to be evil people.
"I think you’re one of the rare people that’s just a bad person who did a horrible thing, and you need to be locked up the rest of your life," he told Dickson.
.............................

so what made him do it?

mind controlled, possesed what ever else.....
or is it just like the judge said "I think you’re one of the rare people that’s just a bad person who did a horrible thing, and you need to be locked up the rest of your life"

That's fudged up. However, there are people out there who are just plain evil. _underscore_ is of the opinion that there are three likely scenario's, the South Carolina guy is either genuinely evil, possessed by demons or a victim of some kind of twisted mind control. The most likely scernario depends on the rest of his family. Was his father involved in super-secret type governmental operations? If that is the case then mind control is likely. Was his father a real mean bastard the beat his wife and kids? Then genuine evil is the likely culprit. Perhaps the family homestead was built on an Indian burial ground?

Could astral projection be the explanation. With others taking his body over.

Isn't it obvious he probably has programmed multiple personalities?

Isn't it obvious he probably has programmed multiple personalities?

I guess that kind of amnesia would account for programmed multiple personalities.
