does anyone know any info about the 1st "plane" to hit the tower letting off a bright white flash seconds before it crashed?

it was meant to be simular in colour & effect to when you burn magnesium (sp?) ribbon. In the short change film it was not mentioned & also on 9/11 truth forums etc it is very rarely mentioned which seems odd to me. My freind who said about it had a image on his phone of it which he said he got off the net but with things like photo shop etc anything is possible.

anyone heard about this before as i have read loads of opinions about what the "planes" where meant to be & he said of all the views expressed this white flash is the most untalked about one.

any views etc would be great. thanks in advance.

When I first started researching 9/11 back in 2005 there was a lot of focus on the actual planes themselves and the anomolies present within the footage of the towers' attacks. These aspects of the day are focused on a lot less in the past year or two (unless you count the no-plane research and their intricate studies of the footage) but the 'pod' seemingly visable underneath Flight 175 and the large bright flash on impact still fascinate me to this day.

In the Naudet footage, the one with the firefighter down on street level, there is indeed a mammoth sized flash of light and to my (admittedely colour blind) eyes is presented on film as a rather bold white colour. It does of course appear to be at the very initial point of contact between the plane's nose and the building's facade but in truth the footage is shot from too far a vantage point to tell wether the flash occurs slightly before, slightly after, or on the point of impact.

If you pop onto youtube and have a look at that now infamous footage of an F15 (I think) fighter jet colliding at great speed with a re-inforced wall you see there is a small orangy flash as nose hits wall ; which I believe to almost exactly match the one seen as Flight 175 hits the South Tower. Flight 11 hitting the North Tower though, if indeed it was Flight 11, is visually very different in terms of the colouration of the flash and the substantial size of it.

in the past some have theorized about the 'plane' firing some sort of a missile into the facade of the building to essentially 'allow it access' if you like. Many people have argued that a plane, which is relatively light and hollow in comparison to it's size, would struggle to penetrate the side of the building therefore, if that was indeed the case, a descrete missile or explosive may have been deployed acting as a key to unlock the side of the building, if that imagery makes sense.

This is the only real theory I've read or heard put forward regarding the flash but I'm sure are others that people can mention or explain.

...untill a better idea comes up... i go with some kind of proximity charge set on the beacons placed in the buildings which the flight computers were aimed at!
