jay z is always flashing the pyramid sign - worse still loads of numpties in the crowd at glastonbury were flashing it back at him - pricks

oh and that track was absoloute bollocks as well - who the hell likes jay z - like kanye the ego is far bigger than it should be for the "talent" displayed

In interviews, Jay Z just comes off as a vacuous, empty husk of a human being. For someone people look up to, he is quite dim...

I couldn't name a single Jay-Z song - I guess he gets a lot of sales, though...I know he did guest vox on Crazy In Love and Umbrella, but that's as far as I know. Fo'shame, I used to be well-informed in popular culture, but the interest has waned.

Fixed. :D

K, I watched the first few seconds (have to go make lunch) and remembered I DO know another Jay-Z song. It's called 99 Problems, was out yeeeears ago, and used exactly the same retarded drum beat. Even I could play it, and I can't play drums.

Allegedly the triangle he does is called the diamond cutter-They were all doing it at the MTV awards the other nite too, including that trout Beyonce....
Started loking into it all after seeing Lady Gaga's "performance" which shook me to my very core.....Stanism personified....Was like being raped visually.
Disgusting. dancers wheeling around on wheelchairs etc, blood, hanging over the stage, and then the chilling red outfit she wore later that eve...

There have been threads on gaga also. I had dismissed it in the past but even my girlfriend who isnt into all this stuff as much as me conceded it was vile....
I also think this whole Kanye West thing was staged also...possibly to piss off the white republicans as a black rapper disses a young country music star.....Just a thought?
Create more division and anger......

Culture is created to make sales. Thats it. If a goat with a slit throat sells, they will market it. They care not, what they sell, as long as it sells. Gay-Z is a brand. A characterture of mine that became popular. The hand sign is a diamond. Roc-a-fella records and clothes is spelt that way as back then in 95-6 I didnt want to show disrespect to the rich family of America. Oh how times have changed... :D

Yeah hip pop, it's very clever because parents think that the music to keep their kids away from is metal etc where the occult is quite obvious, and usually it's just a theme that fits in with the music,a bit of theatre, flowers and puppies don't really go with that genre.

The real danger is from this urban stuff because it's so well hidden. Hip Hop used to stick it to "The powers that be" now the powers that be use it to stick it back to society.

Expose kids to Aspartame, collectivism in schools (training for no personal responsability for their actions) ultra violence in movies /games, violent porn which becomes their sex education.it's no wonder they can stab/kick people to death without a second thought

sad:(

Jay-Z: A Master Of Occult Wisdom?

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=112998783

At this point, the only pop-cultural event that could possibly upstage Jay-Z's new album, The Blueprint III, is Dan Brown's new book, The Lost Symbol.

But if Brown thinks he has the market cornered on Freemasonry and the occult, he had better watch his back. Mitch Horowitz, author of American Occult says that Jay-Z has a keen grasp of certain esoterica, especially in the music video for his new single, "Run This Town."

In an interview with Guy Raz, Horowitz pointed to Jay-Z's use of the phrase "Peace God" as an allusion to the Five Percenters. Also known as the Nation of Gods and Earths, they teach that the original black man is God — and that all men are potentially God. "Peace God" is a typical Five Percenter greeting.

"A phrase like 'Peace God' does not find its way into someone's vernacular by accident," Horowitz says. "He's making a very definite statement."

Of course, Five Percent Nation teachings have had a deep impact on hip-hop for many years. Though not a Five Percenter himself, Jay-Z was born and bred in New York, the birthplace of the movement. So it's common to find such references in rap.

But Jay-Z's connection to the occult may extend a bit further. In the making-of video for "Run This Town," he's pictured wearing a sweatshirt with the phrase "do what thou wilt" printed across the chest.

"Yes, that has very deep roots in modern occult culture," Horowitz says. "The full expression is 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.' That was one of the key maxims of the British occultist Aleister Crowley. So when Jay-Z appears in a hoodie with that phrase on it in public, that's exactly what he's referencing."

Jay-Z's Rocawear clothing line also often draws upon masonic symbols: pentagrams, obelisks, pyramids, the all-seeing eye. Of course, that pales in comparison to the near-obsession with the occult of someone like, say, Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page.

"I would say that a figure like Jay-Z is probably borrowing some of this material," Horowitz says. "But Jimmy Page was imbibing it even more deeply."

Horowitz says he takes a positive view of freemasonry and occultists — many of the country's founding fathers were masons, he says. He does stop short of calling Jay-Z an actual member of a secret society.

"I think he's a very shrewd man," Horowitz says. "I think he's a keen observer of everything going on around him. He's a master at using subversive imagery. You don't find your way to Five Percenter material unless you are very aware of what's going on around you."

Jay-Z’s “Run This Town” and the Occult Connections

Jay-Z’s latest video called “Run This Town” (featuring Rihanna and Kanye West) contains occult symbolism relating to secret societies. It has been long rumored that Jay-Z is part of some sort of occult order (probably Freemasonry) due to the hints slipped in his songs and his imagery. ”Run This Town” certainly adds fuel to the fire. We’ll look at the symbolism in this song and in his clothing line, Rocawear.

did anyone watch the tv show afterwards, imagine: he came, he saw, he conquered. it showed jay-z, all his businesses, he is worth nearly 500 million, is an art collector, a business mogul.
