Hey everyone - Are you prepared?

Sources close to me have told of the swineflu push the coming cold winter and the ossibility of power outages.

are you prepared.

As with every winter you should have stocked up on warm clothing and lots more food and water than you usually get.

also have thoes grab and go bags handy, i think this winter is set to be a bleak one and posible riots on the streets. lets hope not!

Things are heaing up on the global stage at the moment, and most of the world ppulation are just waiting to Die! - ARE YOU ONE OF THEM>?


some things to think about:


1. how will you heat your house without central heating?

2. how will you cook with no oven or power?

3. where will you get water if the tap stops running?

4. cant flush the loo? where to poo?

5. got small children - how to stop the swine flu jab forced into them at school?

6. is your house secure from looting? you never know when the Shit will hit the fan!

to some this thread will seem alittle over the top and fear mongering - im sorry if you feel that way but hey we live in a crazy world not a eutopia!

the world economy is falling around us and the implications will affect us all!

At a pinch it is;

water

Food

Heat

You got shelter (its the house/flat ect :))

Where is the water coming from? Where will it go.

Where will the food come from? Where will.........

Where do you store this stuff? And heat it?

How do you generate heat? How do you keep it in? Is it smokeless? Wood can be smokeless (to a point) Is your stash safe?

How do you make your home strong?

Think it over tonight. Turn off the gas and leccy tomorrow night. How do you all fair? To do this with a family that is not 100% understanding of this, just nick the fuses and turn off the gas supply, without their knowing. They will have to co-operate. First though nick their mobile phone chargers two or so days in advance so that they wont lose themselves in that instead.

Buy some good wool jumpers and sit with blankets around me. I mostly sit in the cold anyways so its ok.

Gas stove, maybe have fires in the garden if need be.

Rain water, cut a section of the drain pipe and put a bucket under it. Local rivers/ lakes/ streams. Also before the water gets cut off, fill your bath and as many buckets pans ect.

Just poo in the neighbours garden :D. You could create a bin type system where you poop in that and then keep cleaning it and putting new plasic bags inside.

I have no children but i would say - killing the teachers is a good option. Ha. (jokeing here people (some people might phone the police, i have seen it before)) :D

No-one will loot us, we are quite poor :D But if they do - haveing some form of defence is good, like crossbows, bows ect. Knives on sticks even....

Its good to be prepared though. If the shit hits the fan (big time) i think it will be alot for people to deal with. So just thinking along those lines and getting ready for if it does happen is a very good step. You are prepareing yourself Mentaly aswell as physically.

If you are going to stay in your house its good to have a good store of food, but i think always be prepared in case you have to move. Have a plan A B and C ........

Windows self-leaded take a lot of getting through. Good dog. Useful, but innocuous, items placed here and there but always to hand.

Most important item for winter is a thinsulate beanie hat! I wear mine all the time in a cold winter - even in bed. Being cold can stop clear thinking and a hat is an essential. I may look like a plonker but I'm a warm, prepared plonker. :p
