Hello all,

I am not sure if this would be the correct forum but I am hoping that you would be able to help me out a bit. I have not been able to dream/at least remember any dreams since I was a kid and I keep trying to find ways to experience this again. I was hoping that someone would have some advice for me.

All the best,
Nodens

Easy, Work the energy centre of your brow chakra. You will have many weird dreams and some prophetic (to yourself).

Hey, I'm relatively new to all of this. How would one go about working the energy center of one's brow chakra? Thank you.

The colour purple (I am assuming that the brow chakra is as I know it to be the third eye chakra?)

Try and imagine a ball of light radiating in this area - you will get there in the end.

Hi, you should try an obsidian purge. You can bu obsidian and most shops that stock crystals/minerals and it's not expensive. Also navaho turquoise under your pillow or in your hand before you go to sleep. Keep a pen and paper handy for when you wake up.

get loads of rough quarts points (sell them in chester for £1 each)

and just hold them on your chakras until you feel somthing (1st time might be upto 30 min / 1 hour but you will :)

put some of these under your pillow / by your bed and youll be dreaming in no time!

ofc you could always eat some cheese before you goto sleep :D

Eat cheese before you go to bed!!! Only joking, try as you are readying for sleep to remember to remember your dreams as you wake up, keep a dream diary handy and write in it as soon as you wake any bits that come to mind, also i have been lucid dreaming again with the technique thats mentioned in the link by curtaincat, it works!! Good Luck.:)

there are a lot of people out there who can not remembe their dreams, there are many way to promote dream recall..
a few to try:
keep a dream diary, take notes as son as you wake up, content of dreams, moods, colours etc.
use crystal theraphy - good ones for dream recall are
Angelite
herkeimer diamons and amythst is a good mixture for dream recall and good sleep.
Moldative - seems to encahnce deep dreams.
I like to use moonstone too.

make a conscious decision to relax before bed and Before sleeping for the night, form your hand into a fist and hold it in the center of your chest. Close your eyes and say: "I will remember my dreams when I wake up." Say this three times, once aloud and twice to yourself & in time it will help.

Drink water before you go to bed. It works for me.

A dream diary is a very good idea i kept one for 7 years straight . Still recall dreams now , even the slightest memory is worth recording as it triggers more .So try and keep pen and paper close to hand thru the day .The more you do it the more it works . Do you smoke ? cannabis is a well know dream suppressant , most people i know who smoked say they dont recal dreams often , probably accessing the dream realm while still awake in that stoned meditative sense :D

hi 2013. yes it definately does prevent some dream recollection, but for me it almost works like a dam. when i smoke the dam is building and the dreams are a bit hazy, but as soon as i stop the dam crumbles and the dreams are even realer and more amazing again every time after these periods of on/off smoking. i do think that my dreams now are stronger and more lucid than they would ever have been if i had never smoked weed. ive found my way back to an almost child like state of dream bliss. even when something really bad happens in a dream, i seem to instantly know its a dream and manage to turn it into a positive.

im really getting to grips with just waking up early and going back to sleep to gain lucidity. worked every day for the last week or so. last night i was flying with eagles and peacocks ( i dont think they fly really do they!), then was completely naked in a very public local place and was just flying around as comfortable as anything

Gotta love those flying dreams :D I'm trying to lucid dream at the moment . the problem I'm finding is i know I'm dreaming constantly to the point of analyzing them while I'm having them its annoying .Even though i know I'm dreaming i very rarely control them to the point of doing something interesting .Often in school dreams for example i will tell the teacher were o get off and walk out saying its just a dream , so why dont i fly away in stead of just merging into another dream scenario

yeah its tricky. i had one a while back where i knew it was a dream but i just couldnt think of anything to do/couldnt be bothered, then gradually woke up and realised what an idiot i was. flying and just observant meditation are the most interesting things ive managed so far. diving is fcking hilarious too.

ive also been more able to wake up slowly, where i am kind of semi aware of both states of consciousness. it really shows you how dreams are just the same as your waking thoughts, but you are completely immersed in it when your body is asleep

Avoid alarm clocks. Wake up naturally, whenever you can. Before you go to sleep tell yourself that you will not think about the days agenda when you wake up. Make dream memory the priority upon waking.

When you wake up, don't move - stay perfectly still and try to remember any detail, then pull that detail like a thread until more details come up. I have heard that once you move, the dream(s) start to slip away.

If you are sleeping with someone - let them know what you are doing and ask that they do not talk to you until you are ready.

You can get some mugwort herb - it is supposed to stimulate the dream part of brain. Either make a tea before bed - or moisten a tissue with the oil and inhale as you go to sleep.

Sweet dreams! :)
