Because the majority of people associate death with something sad, and they think that because it makes them sad, then it must make you sad, so therefore you are depressed. It's basically people projecting an image of themselves onto you. That happens all the time, constantly. It's a human thing.

But I agree with you, I do not fear death because I beleive we go back to our natural state and then we are probably free. But people get sad because they want to enjoy their lives and the other people involved within their lives. They assume someone who is interested in the concept of death must be unhappy because why would someone think of death so much when there is this wonderful life to live? Others actually hate their lives but they hang on because they feel they need to be strong.

That's one way of looking at it. Are there people who are bothering you? I am interested in death too, so you are not alone.

Thinking about another angle on death…Such as when the physical body is deceased and there’s only a ball of energy floating about, a spirit or whatever?

Maybe being free isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…I mean, being free to float around but that’s it!… Just floating around as a ball of energy wouldn’t be enough for some, they’d be continuously whinging about the desire to feel and taste and experience the physical world again.

Darn it! Will they ever learn…:mad:
