Sean can you look into this infraction points system, and make sure the moderators are doing their job properly and fairly. I personally haven't been effected by it but certain people have and on the issue which Trinity brought up, I can't help asking myself why she was awarded a point for infraction. We need to be able to trust that all the moderators are doing a fair job. Other than this little issue, I believe your doing a great job sean, well done!

I was a mod once..
I didn't like it.
It's like teaching kids at primary school. Not that I don't want them to learn, but I'm not going to force them to sit down and read. I mean, damn.

Trust me, it's different. I like kids. I think kids are great. I like watching kids having fun. But to sit there, and play the authortian figure telling them they have to sit down, be quite and do the work assigned to you...
No, it's just not me. I feel like an asshole doing that. I'd rather let them play around.
(I was teaching basic computing skills like Word, Excel, ect.. as an internship.. After a month, I was looking for a new one. )

Can someone tell me if they are able to send pm to moderators? I have been trying and I just get a message saying "this person has chosen not to receive emails".

Maybe it's going to take a little while for the forum to find it's feet, I think were just going to have to except that.

sounds very like 'freedom points' - awful idea
only it does not imprison you to start with ...
you only get points when you brake forum rules.... and the forum rules from what i can see really are not un reasonable at all and have all been explained. there are worst thing going on in the world.

Are you really teaching them, or are you serving the will of the "curriculum".
teaching and repeating are two different things.

you could try the private message link instead of the email link. they are 2 different things.

well from what I can see so far this place has too many rules... it seem to be run by the ORANGE order and the NAM overlords to me
i'm not buying this sham forum, I'll expose everyone here who is in bed with 'them'
Sorry you feel that way, As you may well know, due to the nature of Davids work there are always people who try to destroy his work and try to stop the flow of info from spreading...
methods include... bullying and hounding other members, spamming the forum with insults, pointless photos, in the name of having a "sence of humor", and anyone who does not like the spamming is "dull", trying to hi jack threads by creating arguments... and simply just trying to give the mods a hard time because they are angry that others are helping David Icke, the list goes on and on.
Because of this when this forum was created it was very much aware of the road it had ahead so a few forum rules were put in place, which if you read them they are not really that restricting unless you want to insult people or want to make somone else's thread your own... or the forum even... other than that the rules really are no big deal and we are very easy going mods.
I personally have been on other forums with no mods and its so easy to get caught up in a big row where everyone is trying to shout over each other... it ends up with people even re editing each others posts and just gets silly... no one listens, they just want to shout everyone down and make sure they are at the top of the mountain, I have been right there and done it, its easy to get sucked into especially when there are people who want to create that, tempers fly and it never ends, Its the reason I actually started to chat here before I became a Mod we are no way going to let this forum get like a royal rumble.
I'm sorry you don't approve. Our main aim is to make everyone happy but its not so easy... there are a good few people here who feel the rules are worth while and understand our reasons.

Moderation does seem a bit harsh and overkill sometimes, though i'm sure they'll manage to achieve a balance at some point.
Yes when the spammers and trolls get fed up, everything should be fine. And we can all enjoy the forum, and find peace and harmony. At present there is a lack of love in the world and this reflects in everyday life in various ways upon various people, whether it's on the outside world or on a forum like this.

You're a good example of why a few simple rules are needed
Well done.

He has an agenda, he is good reason to introduce stricter rules. It should be one strike and your out, no messing. I'm convinced that is the only way to deal with these kinds of people.
