I've heard that traffic wardens are to get the power of arrest for when martial law comes into force, has anyone got more information on this?

Check the date this was reported - nicely hidden amongst something that happened in America the day before. Something about planes I think.....

So would that make it "hidden in plane sight" then?

I know traffic wardens here in N. I have spoken of their new "training".

Ultra vires actions (delegation of powers to non-police personnel when no immediate threat exists, such as a state of war on British soil), micro-management of the police force, (must be uncomfortable to have your rota done by the Home Secretary...)...has this guy undergone Common Purpose brainwa.... sorry; 'training' at any time?

Thing is in London anyway, most traffic wardens are 1st generation immigrants, some can hardly speak English, most police are British, I can’t see this going down well with the general public.
I mean people hate traffic wardens as it is, I imagine that is why most of them are not British as most people refuse to prey on there on populous,
I for one will not submit to being detained by someone with little training or warrant.

At least they are honest with their use of the word 'warden'. Think any of the prisoners will catch it though?
