As a former CIA-based physician, I continue to write down my memories about human rights abuses that I witnessed in Iraq in 2003 to 2004.
Although the abuses are old, the understanding that these examples give is very important because I was often within the CIA able to track them down to their source.
As a remote viewer for the CIA giving briefings at the Pentagon, I was asked to collect intelligence on a lot of very unseemly behavior. Most of the time the Pentagon and the CIA asked me to do that because they wanted a cover-up.
Any competent cover-up has to start with an investigation of what actual happened in order to know how to cover it up. Usually, when I was asked to do an initial investigation, I was told that it was to determine the disciplinary action that needed to be taken.
So I recommended what I thought that should be including full court-martial.
As a remote viewer, whatever I said would not be submitted to a court - only the hard evidence that I then collected by the usual means.

Pentagon finally decided that it should be investigated.
When I crested the ridge in a jeep to overlook the coordinates that I was given, there was not much to see; more desert, some rubble on foundations and some gullies. I parked the jeep in what had been a small village of about ten cement foundations.
Walking towards the nearest gully was difficult because of the stench. When I looked over the edge of it, I found what I expected, the dead bodies of the villagers, mostly clothed. It was clear to me immediately that many of the people had been tortured to death. Those not want to read about gore should skip to the next paragraph.
Even from the top of the gully's edge I could see exposed skin that had been cut methodically in long parallel lines. And there were a number of knifes, and other implements stuck in bodies in ghoulish fashion that suggested sexual torture had occurred.
In one such instance, a blade was stuck between the testicles into the perineum and the scrotum cut in many parallel lines and peeled back to expose the testicles. The body had been positioned in the gully in such a way that the legs were splayed open to reveal the torture to terrorize any person later seeing it. I guessed from the size of the village and the pile of bodies that there were about 50 bodies total in the gully. Then I went and looked at the other gullies and found about another 20 bodies.
Those were naked women and children only. They also had parallel cuts on the breast, between the legs, and sometimes on the face. At that point it was quite clear to me that quite a few US soldiers must have been involved to do that much torture.
I called the Pentagon on an encrypted secure satellite phone and reported my preliminary findings. The Pentagon wanted an exact body count and I gave them both the eye-balled estimate of 70 and the remote viewed data of 76. They then asked the ages, sexes, and nationalities of them.
