The Nephilim and the giants seemed to have been hidden from the population for reasons unknown but there is indeed a cover-up going on in the world archaeology but its no joke, the remains and lost masonry of the Giants have been found all over the world.
The book of numbers tells that Giants had control when the floods receded of most of the land maybe settlers from another world or inside our world.
