Just a question to see what people think...

When stopped by a peace officer in the UK, the public is intitled to ask for an Encounter form to be completed.

What are the implications of this? i believe it's a good thing to have for your own welfare, but would this have any negative effects on the freeman slant?

I was just about to recommend someone ask for one, when i stopped and thought.. is this really good advice?

any thoughts would be appreciated. cheers

Why would you want to assist a peace officer using an unlawful act?

that's what i'm asking... encounter forms are a record of the event, whereas if you don't get one, you can't prove you've been stopped and searched if your on your own.

edit: although i guess if you take the number you could. dunno just asking
