Apparently because this was captured on 40mins of film by government observatory there could be an official release to say whatever it was was real.

Its also supposedly 500miles wide so that would mean its not actually in the atmosphere otherwise it would fill the whole skyline.

Looks like C.G to me. The UFO wasn't much bigger than the plane, so then how would it have taken control or taken it aboard? It didn't appear to change in size, which would indicate that it was getting closer to the plane from a distance. I could be wrong though.

the actual camermans/womens movements tell me so

especially when the object flies off.

look again how it reacts when it takes over the plane

there is distortion in the movements and its like a giant energy manipulation.
then it goes away.

very weird to say the least.

That's possible. It could have been using some technology to jump or transport the plane to another location. Possibly opening a wormhole, portal, or the like. The fact that it remained a constant size even at a distance, makes it a bit suspect to me though.

YES AGREED the object seems smaller then the plane
but with all good ufo footage the objects(ufo's) always seem to be rotating very odd like with a very obvious distorted rotation,this could infact throw of our perception of how big they really are

and as you see when it takes over plane,it seems to get larger.

anyhow.

i like the footage and i also wish there was some english translastion to the chinese footage.

i cannot wait till it becomes common knowledge,the fact we are not alone in the universe

i strongly feel that it will happen in my lifetime(im 36 now) sooner then later infact.

Interesting article, i like how the media is covering a lot of this stuff recently, also here in germany, I'm seeingan increasing amount of articles and videos in newspapers.

And 500 miles wide? its really hard to imagine how this would look closer to the ground.

I remember the Guernsey UFO a couple of years ago and that ship they estimated to be 1,5 miles across... I thought that was huge... but 500 miles wide... :)

Hopefully we won't have to wait that long, it would provide plenty of time and opportunities to disinfo agents and sceptics to discredit the sightings.

True that did cross my mind as it usually does with possible legit and hard to explain UFOs.The fact that this UFO has got Chinese scientists a bit baffled should by that fact make people take notice.:cool:If this is confirmed as a genuine unexplained UFO by these scientific men and women then that's the time to really start taking notice that we could be and have been visited.:cool:

I'm hoping that the need for a '12 month study' makes this sighting significant and that the Chinese don't want to be left looking stupid before they make an announcement, so they are making sure to analyse this footage thoroughly... but what proof is there that scientists are really doing this? A quick search on Chinese news sites doesn't show any news relating to this story. It has been reported that this has been all over the Chinese media, can anyone else find evidence of this?
If it is an unreliable story then why have the Daily Mail and the Telegraph reported it? Questions, questions.

My suspicions concerning this story are mounting! Our old friend Michael Cohen :rolleyes: links to a chinese news site article that apparently is the source for the information on the official study at the Purple Mountain observatory. I don't know how to translate the article but if it does say what Cohen is claiming, that's only one article in the Chinese media on this 'huge' story.

In the Deqing region of Guangdong province in China on July 22 schoolchildren gathered on the roof, much like millions of their fellow students, to witness the solar eclipse.

it turns out they saw much more than just the solar eclipse nor were they the only ones taking an interest in the event.

As they were concentrating on the sun a UFO was seen clearly by all the students as it directly obstructed their view. The UFO was a classic silver disc shaped flying saucer. It zigzagged for a while and then after a few minutes shot off at a terrific speed.

Nine students managed to capture the UFO on cellphone cameras (one photo below).The footage has been handed in to authorities for examination.

This UFO event has received massive media coverage and has been reported in all major Chinese newspapers.(says here that it has been reported in ALL MAJOR NEWS PAPERS IN CHINA).:cool:

Sorry Jamesc, I'm not convinced the story is from a reliable source. It seems like another story that Michael Cohen or is interpreting loosely and embellishing. I really wonder if Jadyn Cassidy is just the same person as there is only one source for this story allnewsweb.com. I translated the source that Michael Cohen gives and it doesn't really seem to say anything about scientists filming a UFO for 40 mins.

Chinese experts: bright spot is likely to be a star

Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences Fellow, JI Hai-sheng said at present impossible to speculate that the unidentified object is something they are doing textual research. He believes that the sun itself is likely to be a small event. Kou Beijing Observatory experts argued that "unknown object" the greatest possibility is a star.

At present, the Purple Mountain Observatory is organizing manpower to tackle within the corona, like the continuous observation data, complete data and scientific results of final disposal of out of at least one year's time. The truth may be an unknown object can be solved by then.

If you look on allnewsweb you will very similar stories, also by Michael Cohen or Jadyn Cassidy that report mass UFO sightings that have been somehow missed by the western media. There is usually a scientist mentioned in the story to add credibility. One of the articles is about a mass sighting in India last week, again there is no mention of this news any where else in the media.

I am starting to think the Mail and Telegraph have run with this story just so it can be debunked. I'd be ecstatic if I was wrong and China was really about to initiate disclosure but I don't see any evidence of this being all over the Chinese media.
