I've been wanting to purchase a night vision/ infrared video camera ever since my stint in the military, when I spotted a UFO using military-grade night vision equipment. I was supposed to be focusing primarily on the surface up to the horizon as well as checking the sky for aircraft, but I couldn't help doing just a little star-gazing in the process. It was on one such occasion that I witnessed a UFO which, due to its distance and dimness, was invisible to the unaided eye. I was panning the sky about 40 degrees above the horizon checking out the stars when one "star" in particular caught my attention. It suddenly released a flash of light--which again, was only visible with the night vision equipment I was looking through. Immediately after producing the flash of light, this supposed "star" suddenly ejected a smaller object, which then began to move up and down along side the larger object performing wild jagged maneuvers in the process. I quickly realized that what I was looking at was no star as I watched both objects intently. After a few seconds there was another flash of light, whereupon another small object was ejected out of the larger craft. Immediately, it joined the other smaller object and began moving up and down in a jagged, zig-zag motion. Both of the smaller objects appeared to be tumbling as they moved. I cannot tell if they were self-luminous or if they were reflecting the light of the sun off of their metallic surfaces.
Because I had a more pressing duty to perform I only kept watching this fascinating spectacle for a minute or so, after which I resumed my surface search. After completing another go-around, I pointed my equipment back in the area of the UFOs, but by that time clouds had moved into the vicinity. I was a bit disappointed, but at least I was able to see what I saw.
Which brings me to today. I was searching on the internet, looking for night-vision and video camera equipment. I plan on hopefully recording such an event in the future, this time for all to see. The thought then occurred to me to check YouTube to see what others have already posted in this arena, and in fact, what is there is quite interesting to say the least. Here are a few...
Video description: He was filming through his night vision because he wanted to capture a shooting star which we see frequently without the NVG's. he was filming from a location on the Gulf of Aquaba just across from where the Jordan and Saudi Arabia border is in Egypt. he captured what he thought was a shooting star until looking at the video on his computer. If you look close, the UFO actually maneuvers and then pretty much stops on a dime, before continuing its journey making a sharp right.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhBNByfxyUQDirect link to video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhBNByfxyUQ)
If you pause the above video at about 3 seconds in, you can see that it is definitely a craft, and not just an amorphous "dot" or ball of light such as a shooting star. It appears to have wings and a mid-section.
Here's another:

As I say, I hope to purchase such equipment in the near future, and hopefully I will be posting my own videos to Youtube soon after! If so, I'll provide updates on this thread.
