All I can think of is that some abductees like to not sleep at night to avoid abductions that could be considered a form of oppression with their sleep cycles.

I simply dont like to let my mind wander on its own sometimes, or maybe I have too much to worry about. In such times I sleep alot less, but I dont really need as much sleep either. The body seems to just go in "hyper" mode, untill you have gotten through the trials at hand.

im not talking just about not being able to sleep, i mean waking up and being concious but u can't move. iv had this alot since i was a kid, and sometiems i can't a presence/presences when it hapopens. once when i was about 10 or 11, it happened repeatedly, for an entire day (i'd been up that night) i would wake up and couldn;t move, and usually i would just try to move until eventually i would fully wake up and could move but it would take a couple of minuts. this time just as i would realise what was happening i would pass out again and then wake up for a couple of seconds then pass out agan, this happened about 10 times in a row, and then the last time i heard my name called! which scared the living shit out of me..anyway iv had other experiences with "ghosts" more recently in the last couple of years and sleep oppression, out of body "attacks" where i would wake up and couldn't move, but but my astral body would half come out the top half) and i started being swung on the spot around and around, wasn't fun because i wasn't in control-around the same time i would have these feelings like something was trying to get inside me, it was really fucked, i had already had some amasing spiritual experiences at that time, but i wasn't relly prepare for things that. then one my friend said something about sleep opression and aline abduction, like how icke (i think it's icke) says that abductions occur on the astral plane not this one (if it isn't icke it' someone iv read recenly)

sounds like youve got some of the symptoms of sleep paralysis.
i have it now and then and it can be pretty intense.
its suppose to be when your body wakes from REM sleep and your body is still in a state of paralysis(which stops you from physically acting out your dreams), but you can also still be half dreaming at the same time.
it was very scary when i young because i would wake up unable to move and i would see a dark presence out the side of my eye then all of a sudden feel great pressure on my chest.
i havent seen any ghosts though.

yes this is what i am talking about, but the thing is icke talks about these reptilians existing at the lower 4th, close to us but just outta normal range, Gohst...exist on a plane just outta range, and when u get sleep oppression u can see/feel these presences holdingu down, (or in my case) pulling u out of ur body, shit like that, and i heard that somebody (maybe icke) that abduction dosn't occur "here" exactly but on the astral-so that where the correlation come in ya know whati mean? i fucking hate it, but the more knowledge i get the les scary it becomes...

on ares p2p u can get art bell's radio show and there is one entitled "shadow people" a native american shaman talks about these "dark beings" in relation to this..it's quite intersteing, he paints it like they aren't really evil, just the yang to yin so to speak....

You could be starting to have an out of body experience. Have you read any of Robert Monroe's work? And don't bother with the sleep paralysis bs line everyone gives you. You were either have an abduction/astral attack experience or you were about to leave your body.

yeah. i agree with you on this. ive always thought the sleep paralysis explanation was a bit too simplistic and narrow minded.
i mean there have been lots of accounts of people having the same experience with the dark presence.

I support oppressing those who sleep, since I never seem to be able to get any sleep myself.

So there IS a connection between sleep oppression and abduction???
