View Full Version : Sensationalist headline in The Sun today
'A nation under siege'
Anarchy in the uk, yobs rule streets, knife crime soars....
Goes on to say Britain is on the brink of anarchy.
Well if it is, i am yet to see it. Talk about instilling fear into the public, a lot of people will pick the paper up today and start to wonder if its safe to go out on the streets after reading this crap. Yes we have problems, but we're hardly on the brink of bloody anarchy are we?
Please tell me we're not.

yea I saw that....it's to be expected as 'they' try to whip us up into paranoia and fear, divide and conquer, their usual method......as you say, of course we have problems, we all aware of that, but anarchy? Not yet!!:D
Virtually identical headline front page on 'the mirror' too.
The biggest piece was on how '100 thugs in siege at police station'
Well it wouldn't have happened if they had let the gathering have their 'illegal party' (wow) in a disused warehouse. Police seized their sound system, arrested party goers and broke up the party by using heavy handed tactics.
Well what do you expect, bloody party poopers. 'leave them kids alone'

Hear Hear......thats soo true, why don't they just leave the kids to party, seems like the beastie boys were right after all LOL:D
The thing is, I have first hand experience of this as I grew up with the rave culture years ago, and it was a constant battle with the police to get one step ahead of them. But all we wanted to do was party, and the only trouble was when they turned up, or tried to stop an event happening. They just don't like lots of people having a good time, end of.
If they had just let the party pass off, and come to its natural end, then everyone would have gone home happy, but they decided to stop it and cause problems. Now they just blame it all on the kids,'violent thugs' that they are...

Yeah I know, been busted during raves before and there's no reason for them to intervene, guess it makes them look like they're 'doing' something between stalking drivers and eating donuts....LOL.
however there is a problem with gang members in cities tho, had a run in with one group a few saturday's ago, pulled a knife on my mate, which lead to a confrontation in which they backed off in the end, it's sad these kids think they can only earn 'respect' by pulling a knife on someone innocent. Yet it is a reflection of society today.
Yeah, I agree there is a problem with knife crime, but the media are so to blame for this. It is highlighted in the news and newspaper, so it gains attention, and other kids also think they need 'protection' as well. All by design I suppose, bloody sick though. I have seen a huge rise in reported robberies in my city in certain areas, but I still have to go to these places sometimes. Its only going to get worse, and of course the solution will be rolled out then, more control!!!

The people who need locking up the most are those in government and banking.
No wonder there is a bit of Anarchy going around with murderous scum in power.
Propaganda is what we get in the mainstream these days, another typical problem reaction solution going ahead.

Its easy to say these things are to do with building the Police State. The media is propoganda we know... the Knives/Guns things is something born from their policy's... and demonising kids...
I'm not sure about this last thing. How does this help them. In normal times I wouldn't want kids roaming the streets with knives and Guns either, but in these days I want as many citizens to be armed as possible.
Is there something more than meets 'our' eyes going on here?
It was the teddy boys in the 50's trashing cinemas etc i know a lot of blokes who where around then who used to say your generation to me but when i said you started it all with the teds etc they alll said that was crap the papers bigging it up .Then we had the mods rockers in the 60's and it goes on yesterdays youth who where used to scare the older generation become the older ones to be fed the same old bull. The thing is the world seems to be getting worse because the emphasis is on the negative when do you se egood news o nthe news or in the paper , i dont have tv now but i bet even the skateboarding dog has gone fro mthe end of the news now that lamely attempted to even the balance of good bad news.We had the riots in my generation and things didnt decend into anarchy back then .Givingthe kids ritalin etc dont help if they cant passify them with drugs they will wind them up same end result .:D

Ahhh, good old moral panic.
Stanely Cohen did a study of this back in the 1972, wrote a book called 'Folk Devils and moral panic' about the mods and rockers being labelled up as deviants by the media which inevitably created the social reaction of panic.
Sociology is pretty interesting when you take examples such as the above headline. It is well documented that labelling kids as dangerous/deviants actually encourages children to align themselves with the deviant label rather that repell them against it. In effect labelling has become a social control that affects self image. So, hypthothetically take a kid who comes from a difficult background, no self worth, no mentor to speak of, who joins a gang to boost they're confidence etc, gets labelled as a troublemaker, that kid is going to think fuck it, if thats what they want, i'll give it to them.....and so the vicious cycle begins.

History doesnt really change as much as we think. In so many ways history simply repeats itself :) As I see it, it just gets on bigger and bigger scales. If there will be a next world war, then it is very likely to be truly global next time. Thereafter, it will probably be intergalactic wars, or Star Wars :p

what do you expect, social engineering, bad parenting, lawless youth. parents are not responisible , they view these kids as burdens, they can't wait until the kids, are 16, ship them out of their homes, so they can get back to living their own life.
its also a cultural thing, no family culture. look at the ethnicity of the majority of the asbo youths.

Yes, I saw that as well. I also thought what a load of bollocks. Of course there are problems in society (we all know that). Typical sun gutter over reaction to any problem.

"...you know what my problem is? I watch too much news, man, that's my problem, that's why I'm so depressed all the time, I figured it out. I watch too much CNN, man. I don't know if you've ever sat around and watched CNN more than, I don't know, 20 hours in one day...I don't recommend that. Watch CNN Headline News for 1 hour, it's the most depressing thing you'll ever fucking do: WAR, FAMINE, DEATH, AIDS, HOMELESS, RECESSION, DEPRESSION. WAR, FAMINE, DEATH, AIDS, HOMELESS...Then, you look out your window. "Where's all this shit happening? Ted Turner's making this shit up! Jane Fonda won't sleep with him, he runs to a typewriter: 'By 1992, we will all die of AIDS; read that on the air. I don't get laid, no one gets laid!'" I'm writing Jane Fonda: 'Will you fuck this guy so we can get some good news, please?' I want to see a well-laid Ted Turner newscast: "Hey, it's all going to work out. Here's sports."

From what I know, that news did not make it onto Sky - too busy with the GCSE stats for this year and asking if the exam system is becoming easier!!!
We all know the media is full of disinformation, so we shouldn't take it too seriously.
I remember back in the late 80's girls wanting to just get pregnant so they could have a council flat/house - how sad is that??? It is this generation that are now walking our streets, so is it any wonder that they have turned out as they are?? They have not been wanted or love since day one - well I shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush, but a lot of these children were more of a convenience, a means to an end.
I am still happy to walk around where I live, though I have to say just last week a Polish immigrant was stabbed to death here. Mind you it was a Glaswegian who stabbed him not someone from here!!!

I wonder what would happen to people if the news only reported good news. I'm not talking as a joke - I'm being serious, can you actually imagine what might happen if the news only reported good things???
How would that change our perceptions of the world? Our attitudes? Our wants and goals? How would it change our emotions and our outlook on life? What would it really do to us? Would it do us any harm?
And why is this news paper called the 'sun'?? sounds illuminati to me.

Well, we would all be happy and go around smiling alot I suppose, safe in the knowledge that we live in a beautiful world where nothing bad ever happens. How weird would that be.......lovely but weird! What would be complain about, what would all those moaners out there have to say then?? They would have to change into happy, positive people - My God if this happens, who knows.....we could easily swoop up into the 7th dimension for sure!!!:D:D

Well this is obvious evidence of who the Sun are in support of.
"Anarchy in the UK as yobs rule"
The giveaway is the use of the word Anarachy in the same sentence as yob rule. Yob rule and anarchy are opposite in meaning. They are trying to associate anarchy with yob rule. However we already live under yob rule and the govt are yobs a zillion times worse than all the yobs on the streets put together.
Pro-government teachers, preachers, beneficiaries, lawyers, journalists and employees all insist that the word "anarchist" means one who favors "chaos" and violence. That is a LIE.
It is not just a lie, it is the opposite of the truth; for it is government that causes chaos and violence. So to help clear the confusion, let's define these terms.
Government, as used on this web site, means an organization that governs those within its power. If you're within reach of a government, it is taking some of the decisions that affect your destiny. There are possibly better ways to define government; but that will do for now.
Anarchism, in contrast, means "absence of a ruler". It's one of a series of words derived from Greek: "monarchy" is government by one person, "oligarchy" by a few persons, "plutarchy" by some rich persons, and so on. The prefix "an-" means a negation or opposite, and the suffix "-archy" means "rule", hence "anarchy" means rule by no persons. An "anarchist" is one who believes society runs best when nobody rules or governs it; when each of its members makes 100% of the choices that affect his or her life and therefore none at all of those affecting anyone else's.
Naturally, pro-government people hate that idea, because they would not be able to strut around ruling other people or live off their labor. So they do all they can to discredit anarchism. As above, they lie; they try to redefine the word, to scare people into supposing that it means "chaos". On this web site, we'll examine the true source of chaos and violence.
To compound the confusion, some people call themselves "anarchists" but openly destroy the property of, and call for controls over, the peaceful behavior of those they hate - so proving that they really favor government. So we have to recall the definition: a genuine anarchist doesn't want to rule anyone, except himself. We love freedom - and not just for ourselves. We're happy for everyone else to enjoy it too.

Yes, they are all dancing to the same tune.
I found this link a few months ago, I don't know whether this has been mentioned on this site before, as it is quite old, but most of the time, as anything else that has elements of truth in it, it get's brushed under the carpet.
http://www.justresponse.net/DougalWatt20Aug02.html
It is quite lengthy, but basically it is saying that it is not our Governmental MEPs who represent and help govern us in the EU but the Mafia, CIA and Freemasons. This Mr. Watt stumbled upon some sort of conspiracy in one of the departments where a commissioner had an all too common working accident - he fell god knows how many floors to his death, I think in Brussels. This Italian Commissioner was used as a pawn in a right old racket going on in the tobacco industry and it was deemed to be a suicide - case closed!!
Mr. Watt who wrote the article tried to seek justice for that Commissioner through the EU system and found it corrupt, so much so, he was the one who was eventually found to be insane and now for speaking out, he is in fear of his life and naturally cannot return to work for the EU - who would want to anyway!!! This is seriously disturbing stuff, yet hardly any coverage, just like the article that claimed Tony Blair was influenced into going into Iraq.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/09/12/nthom12.xml
Nothing ever seems to go any further - I wonder why???
Mind you I have also read somewhere not so long ago that the first ever Prime Minister actually stated that it was not him who governed the UK but those in the shadows! So why do we still continue to bother voting - it is a complete and utter waste of time!!! So very frustrating!!!:(

I wish we could somehow get at these media presenters! They might start thinking twice about what they are doing.
You can. How about putting together an A4 back and front sized publication with the most important information you come across every week and making say 200 copies and distributing them locally. If say 100,000 people did that you could reach every one in the country. So you start it off and put a note at the bottom asking people to email you if interested in distributing the publication and you send it out to those people who print it out and drop it thru peoples letter boxes. Could get some kids to do the delivery for you. .

David Cameron was given a platform on Jon Gaunts show on talksport today to tell the nation how he was going to fix the UKs broken society, tougher laws more police etc. all the things the public want to hear when they're emotionally disturbed by an incident like the one in liverpool.
more laws less rights on the way folks!!
