I read a lot of books. In my experience I can say that many books are build to give freedom. In some books there are some organization behind. (or first came the book)
I found that even if the books give you freedom if you reach the organization you will find a prison. So personally I read books of every doctrine but I stay away miles and miles from organization build from some books ideas. Understand?

I recommend reading

The Holographic Universe (1991), by Michael Talbot.

A lot of writers have obviously found inspiration from this piece of work.
