U.S.A and N.A.T.O. forces invaded Serbia at 1999.
Bill Clinton said that they made that war for humanitarian purposes,because the leader of Serbia was a bad nationalist.
But lets review the background..
Albania <neightbor country to Serbia> once had communism.
But lots of people didn't liked that and rebeled against the government,but what came out wasn't democracy,but anarchy.
There was no law,no authority,no police,no militairy.
In such a situation people looted everything publc and governmental,and that includes weapons.
They ended up in a situation were almost any home had it's AK-47 rifle.
But because there was not any kind of order,there wasn't market too.
So each man had to do his own to survive.
Beside make use of the rifles to hunt animals,some poeple formed packs of looters and they came up with the idea of passing the borders of Serbia and steal people.
And that is what they started to do.
Of caurse and there were casualties..
Sometime that became an every day event,and Serbia'a government said that it's no more legal to pass the borders,and anyone who pass them will be asked to turn around and if not,he would be shot.
And that is what they did.
But albanians didn't stop.
Some packs were still trying to pass the borders armed with rifles to steal people,and Serbian army shot them dead.
And this is were Bill Clinton comes and sayes that Serbians are bad racists and they torture poor albanians,and that they have to make a war to stop the bad serbian leader.
After that,Clinton gave lots of money to Albania,and Albania became once more a real country with covernment etc...
To thank him,albanians named lots of squares and streets of their capital city with names like "Bill Clinton Sq.","Washington street" etc..
But that's not the whole story.
U.S.A. are splitting Serbia to small parts through years..
They recognize each of it's providence's as independed states.
Montenegro,Kosovo etc...
And each new state gets a loyal to U.S.A. government.
What's your opinion about that ??
