Apparently spotted by the Apollo 20 crew on the 16th Aug 1976 on the surface of the moon.

The object shows up in a photograph on the official NASA Apollo Image Atlas. Scroll out to the middle of this NASA photograph
and spot the object (craft?), it is nearly 1 mile long:

Look at the two photographs closely and compare them. The
topography in the two photographs does not appear to match up.
For example, there are craters in one that do not appear in the
other. Therefore, I believe that the video is a hoax.

I should add that according to official history, there never was
an Apollo 20 space flight. Apollo 20 was scheduled for liftoff in
July of 1972, but the plans were canceled on 4 Jan 1970. See

I believe the person(s) who made it came out and said that it was fake; they just wanted to recapture that "sense of wonder" at the unknown—which it does effectively. The obviously papier-mâché alien should give it away, really. There was no Apollo 20. In fact there were never any Apollo missions to the moon.

I liked the alien though. Very realistic.

You know what? I bet you would never have the exact OFFICIAL URL for the above picture, because it has been revamped by someone who wanted to spread disinformation about the hidden mission. And I will prove it later...

Figure 1 is uploaded by José Pedro Gomes who created the website about analysing the "Apollo 20 flyover..." videos (http://tasfastas.googlepages.com/apollo20-pseudospaceship2232222). He claimed this picture is a higher resolution version of the official No. AS15-P-9630. But he did not quote any OFFICIAL URL to claim where it was from.(I could not find it out.)
He only said "Mr. Keith Laney requested AS15-P-9630's enhanced version on MSSS (Malin Space Science Systems) by MGS MOC Public Target Request Program." But the programs of MSSS(http://www.msss.com/) and MGS MOC are all about Mars! So, all of this make doubt that someone wanted to cover it up by sreading disinformation...

Figure 2 is one portion of the exact photo No. AS15-P-9630 from Lunar and Planetary Institute websie, which has been precisely cut to the pixel size 952x544 as same as Figure 1.(http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS15-P-9630), in order to compare with figure 1 under the similar and oringinal scale, then we can see the difference...

(Note: Some of the differences are circled in yellow, and same information from Figure 1 is inside the yellow square of figure 2 under the original scale.)
The edge's shape of most small craters appear to close to ROUND while Figure 2 is ELLIPTICAL, and the surface is much brighter than Figure 2. All these features would make the surface in Figure 1 appeared less layers and lower attitude than Figure 2...
Now, think about the purpose to "revamp" photo AS15-P-9630!
"Making the surface look flat and clean enough as if there was nothing on the lunar ground!"

Let us zoom out the Figure 2 a bit to match the scale of Figure 1 in same pixel size (952x544) and name it " Figure 2' ". Then, reduce the brightness and blur the photo Figure 1, until it looks like it is under the same condition comparing with Figure 2', then name it " Figure 1' "

Neat pictures, good reply , seems any time someone comes up with evidence to suggest that yes the Apollo missions did find very high levels of strangeness on the Moons surface and these anomalies where photographed , its condemned as fake even when its shown its from the ORIGINAL Apollo photos.Of course if these photos cannot be shown to be fake or debunked easily then the source or person posting or providing this information is character assassinated or ridiculed. This is classic sceptic tactics or what i like to term selective scepticism breeds a selective sceptic.Good on you for taking the time and trouble to dig deeper and find things other people may have mist.:cool:
