Healing Affirmations:

Clearing up your Guidance System.

Any chance we can make this a sticky, please, mods?

i have worked with this affirmation a few times with people who feel that they are the victims of thought control from 'dark' ego centred and controlling forces.

It is a very powerful activation of Self Power and realisation.

There are a few examples of this dotted around the internet, and this is just one, it is by no means definitive.

It isn’t meant to be religious, although it does have some concepts of religion within it. I feel it is an aid toward the activation of ones own true power of Self, that it both lays claim to and affirms ones own true divinity, and it does so on a many different levels.

I’ve posted here so that people may choose to do with it as they will. If a certain part of it doesn’t resonate then it can be changed to suit, as no specific piece will ever address every occasion. If there is a need to add or take away passages or content, then provided it is worked with, with the intent of attaining Self, then I can’t see why it can not be altered.

This is not mine, btw. Although I have ben working with it from time to time since early 2003 ish.

I think that it came to bear from the conception that as the millennium opened and we were introduced to the concept of StarGates (which open as per numerical dates, ie: 01/01/2001, 09/09/09 etc in order to futher awareness) and the accepted shifts that we are undergoing within attaining greater spiritual understanding – and as a resulting factor it has been mooted that ‘dark’ energies, or controlling ego based agenda forces were manifesting as 'guides' for / to earth bound incarnate beings in an attempt to slow the progress of spiritual evolution. This was then put together as a tool to stop such controlling factors influencing our being.

I was driven to post this as an aspect that was raised within the entity removal thread.


FROM THE LIGHT OF GOD THAT I AM:

I declare that my team of guides and
teachers shall be comprised of members only of
100% pure white light.

my primary guide shall be an entity of

so what happened in year 2000? the calender does not allow for 0/0/2000 so what happened? was there no 'stargate' that year?

Hey zenith.

Don't be freaked out by it, because the freak out might create a subconscious mindset...

You could try saying the word 'comprised' 16 times: repeating something 16 times gets it fixed into the subconscious mind. It kinda becomes a self acting truth affirmation that locks in.

Saying comprised 16 times will help you slot in the word when you come to say it - try it :D

Or you could replace the word with 'made up of' if that fits with you better :D

i hear what you are saying, xpleet.

It can seem easier to just fall into step with the harshness of the world, and allow ego to rule, to befall to the guile of dog eat dog and just not give a fuck, like, as we may percieve it, everyone else.

But does doing so make the heart sing or sink?

I agree, sometimes it feels like you need a heart of steel to surpass all the darkness and negativity, sometimes it feels like you have to become a wolf to exist healthily - in a spiritual sense - in a world of wolves.

Having a kind heart and a good soul doesn't mean that you have to let people walk all over you, though. Existing in light doesn't mean you have to take other peoples shit. And having a kind heart and a pure soul helps you escape their drama's and not be so affected by their programe.

You can be strong and pure, you can allow your heart to sing it's own tune of joy, without buying into the bullshit of the world, without becoming 'one of them,' - you just have to believe you can.

'Warriorship:' to me that is standing up and declaring your own beauty, no matter the face of evilness that exists around us, having the strength to say no, i will not fall to something that will eat me up. Warriorship is about declaring your power and willingness to accept that power and brandish it in a way that helps rather than destroys. Warriorship is finding the light and not allowing the dark to engulf it. And yes that can sometimes feel like an uphill struggle. But the test is to allow your heart to sing it's own song of joy and not sink to 'their' levels.

Cord Cutting.



Cords are energetic pathways, created between people through interaction on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Cords can be seen as the ethereal connection bonds between two people, the stronger the bond / connection between two people the stronger and more tangible the cord.

Throughout our life we will come to interact with many thousands of people on many different levels of consciousness. Each of those interactions creates a cord, an etheric energetic exchange of consciousness that is often short lived and almost none distinguishable. The connections we make on an every day level, as we connect with the girl on the checkout, the bus driver, someone in the lift or someone we hold a door open for, exchanging a smile and a thank you, such the cords are fleeting and momentary, short lived and will whither away to nothing in an instant. They will be as long lived as the memory of that meeting. Some cords however are stronger and much more tangible.

The cords between a parent and their children are perhaps the strongest cords we will ever create, cords with parents, siblings, lovers and friends are again strong solid etheric connections whose bonds can be felt across the many levels of being, existing in not only physical, but mental and emotional and occasionally spiritual realms simultaneously.

When I see a cord, I see it as a coloured stream of energy, very much like an umbilical cord. Cords are usually attached to the chakra system, and invariably, depending on the relationship are linked to the Solar Plexus Chakra, although they can be linked from the Heart Chakra and the crown chakra also. Cords are not constricted by distance, they can flow between people who are hundreds of miles apart and form an energetic gateway between two people who share a strong devotion and physical connection.

Some times we can ‘tap’ into a friend or loved one who is distant from us, our minds become tuned in somehow and occasionally when synchronicities abide we’ll get a phone call or an email from that person who was tuning in to us at the same time. This is cords at work, the emotive response from one, moves along the energetic cord pathway and triggers a reflective response in the other.

Cords can be beautiful, they can provide us with a connection tom our friends and loved ones when thay are not near, they can form a strong bond between two people, they can nurture and sustain and help to form a solid and tangible tie.

They can also be destructive. An attached cord can allow for a one way energy exchange and form a vampyric relationship that exists purely on an energetic level where there is no physical correspondence.

A broken relationship, for instance, where one side does not want to let go and move on can lead to a draining of energy and a one-way energy flow, leaving the other partner drained and tired and exhausted. Likewise when a close friend or family member passes over, the physical connection is broken but the energetic connection might remain. Healers will often connect with their ‘clients’ and the transfer of healing can create a very strong cord, if the cord isn’t cut, closed and sealed after the healing, the client may inadvertently be accessing the healing energy long after the actual treatment has finished – leaving the healer depleted and drained.

Where the energetic pathway is left open, a flow of energy may leave to feelings of dizziness, tiredness, exhaustion, and even confusion and depression over long periods of drainage.

Un-needed energetic pathways can be closed and managed. We are all responsible for our own energetic systems, and where a cord remains we are in effect sanctioning the other person, who we may no longer have any physical, emotional or mental connection with, to tap into our energy and drain our life force. Where a broken relationship exists for instance, without closure, the cords and energy flow may still exist where there is no physical correspondence. An ex can literally be bleeding our energy system dry.

Where someone we loved dearly has passed over, we can still cut and close the cords that existed between us, and doing such is not a reflection of cutting them out our lives, for they will still exist in our hearts and minds. Cutting cords, both between those who have transited our dimension and those who we are separated from in the outer world, allows them to move on upon their journey, beit in this realm or any other. Cutting cords not only allows us to move on, it allows them to move on also, in effect cutting cords sets them free.

Cords tie us to one and other, and sometimes we may no longer have need for those ties. Sometimes there comes a time when we have to let go.

Cutting cords is a visualisation technique, similar to a guided meditation. Psychic healers, Shaman, Crystal healers etc may all be able to cut cords at your request during a treatment, however I feel that it is often a more powerful affirmation and highly Self empowering to attend to such ones self. And it’s a lot cheaper lol.

To begin with cutting un-needed cords, settle yourself down as you would do to go into meditation, close your eyes and breathe slowly, initiate circular breathing, in through the nose and out through the mouth, begin to still your mind.

When you feel ready to, picture yourself standing in a circle, it can be as wide as you like, but you should be the only person in the circle. Picture in your mind’s eye the person you want to disconnect from and see them standing in another, separate circle. If they are in the same circle as you, visualise the circle splitting and separating to form two separate rings.

Begin by bringing to a close any ill feeling between you, if you need to apologise for anything, apologise to that person, you might want to explain your apology. If you feel you need an apology from that person, explain how you are feeling and release them from owing you anything. This part is hugely important, do not ask them for anything at all, when the cords are cut you will be totally separate, if you feel they owe you something, the cord will remain in a lesser degree. Simply forgive them, absolutely for any ill they have bought to you.

Call upon ArchAngel Michael (he is a good ally for this technique) or any deity that you feel a strong resonance with. Declare, plainly and simply that you wish all energetic, mental and emotional ties between you and (say the name of) the person be cut and ask that Michael cuts the cords between you. He will cut the cords with his sword. This is a tremendously powerful experience; ArchAngel Michael is hugely emotive in his being, so you may get very emotional at this time. See the cords being cut and picture them being sealed with universal love, see the cord retracting into your Solar Plexus chakra, hold your hands over the chakra and seal the energy into your physical being. At the same time, see the other end of the cord return to the person in the other ring.

If you feel you have an energetic connection with someone or something that you do not know, simply ask that all cords and connections that are draining you and your energy, cords that are not of divine love, cords that are not for your highest good be cut with immediate effect and all connections between entities of dark and ill will be sealed and closed for all times.

To close the visualisation, see each of the rings now as rings of fire, see the fire encircle you as an energetic protector, and see the other ring of fire, where the other person stands, begin to melt away as you let them go.

When you are ready to, give thanks to the deity you have worked with, ArchAngel Michael, and say ‘It Is Done,’ and return to conscious awareness.

The Star of David light grid.

As a crystal healer i work with many light grids for varing healing needs: the Star of David is a crystal grid that many crystal healers will choose to work with. The grid creates a web of light around you, and if you are working with someone in healing, around you and your client. The grid of light aligns with purety and protects those within it from outward forces. The Star of David also makes a great grid to meditate within.

The Star of David is a very powerful tool which can be set up around a chair or a treatment couch, or even your bed if you suffer from nightmares etc. Outward forces of negativity wil not be able to breach the lines created by this light grid.

The Star of David light grid can be 'activated' by using a crystal / wooden wand or a pendulum. Once the grid has been lain out as in the diagram below, using a crystal or wooden wand, draw an imaginary circle over the crystals in a clockwise manner, moving your wand from left to right / clockwise, make three complete circles and see the circling motion as drawing a line of light around the crystals, you might want to have a clear affirmation in mind when you are doing this: 'i seal this space in the name of love and light and banish all that is not of love and light,' is a good one - but you might want to say sometjing that is important to you. You can activate the web in the same way with a pendulum, again by moving the pendulum over the crystals in a clockwise manner, circling three times, keeping the affirmation in your mind at all times. For those who are very visual, you may see a 'wall' of light created by this movement that becomes stronger and more tangible with each rotation of your wand - if you can't see it, you may feel it. Thsi might not be immediately apparent if you are starting out on your own journey of discovery, but i am sure it will become more apparent the more you work with this technique.

The geometric shape of the grid and the crystal formation will create a vibration on their own, activating the grid as above allows for a transferance of intention between you and the crystaline grid and the forces of light and powers up the vibrational frequency to a higher state. You may choose not to activate the grid in this way, or you may choose to - experiment with it and see how it feels, see how it resonates with you.

If you choose to activate it, once you have done so, the interior space will be one of purety and light and is perfectly safe for you to step in and work, either in healing / self healing / meditation.

to deactivate the grid, once you have concluded, simply step outside the grid and perform the activation sequence again with either crystal / wooden wand or pendum, moving again in 3 clockwise circles over the crystals, giving mental thanks to the crystals and seeing the grid close down.

The Star of David grid affords a good foundation of protection, centering and grounding and is hugely benefitial.

The crystals should be ideally placed between six and twelve inches from the body, with their points facing inwards - however the crystal grid can be placed around a room to clear the space for meditation groups and shamanic journeys if so desired and can be activated by physically walking around the room, in a cirlcle holding the afirmation thought for clearing etc and joining the crystals with an ethereal cord from your wand / pendulum.




One way to protect yourself from negativity and negative forces is to sit within a grid of light. The grid below is known as the Star of David, it is used in crystal healing to create a safe healing space. Any negativity within the grid will be automatically cleansed and purified by it, and it creates a pool of light wherein negativity can not enter.

You don't have to be jewish to work with this :rolleyes:

The grid is created (and the star of david formed) by placing six crystals or candles as shown, the crystals as shown will form two interlocking triangles (with their single points facing inwardly - it's important not to use double pointed crystals, btw). when the six crystals are placed as shown, they form a grid of pure crystal energy and light. The same effect can be created by using tea light candles or similar.

The two interlocking triangles are representative of the heart centre, in that it is the centre physical chakra, bringing together the energy of the lower chakras and higher chakras equally. Also it is representative of the female meeting the male, the outer meeting the inner, the giving and recieving of love, Mother Earth meeting Father Sky, the two triangles form a very powerful vibration for healing and love.

If possable you can set the grid so it is aligned north - south, but this isn't absolutely necersary, but i feel that doing such makes the energy feel more comfortable.

It is a very powerful and protective grid to work with and you may find that many crystal healers work with it.

You can set the crystals or candles up so they form a grid around you to create a perfectly safe place to work in, or you can set the grid up and step inside. the grid is particularly usefull for creating a safe healing place, either when usinjg crystals in healing, reiki or shamanic journeys and meditation.

This is also a great meditational device on it's own, setting the crystals or candles up around you while you meditate to bring a greater link to higher energies. Tho if you're using candles its good to have them a little distance away so they don't catch your clothes on fire :rolleyes:

Also, if the energy becomes too intense, as it may for very sensative folk, you can always turn one of the crystals to point outwards and away from you to drain the energy a little - the crsytal that you turn outwards should be the one facing North, or if you haven't aligned to the compas points, the crystal that is above your head. You might like to place a large piece of smoky quartz at a distance from the grid also, so that the outward facing crsytal can point to, so that the smoky can catch and drain the energy safely.

It is best to use clear quartz single point crystals, as clear quartz creates a pure vibration: though for meditation you can use other quartz types such as Amethyst or Azeztulite - and Rose quartz is nice too.

Crystals in healing.

For the longest time I have been interested in crystals and their healing properties. I have been working toward a greater understanding of how crystals work in the healing process, and such understanding goes beyond conventional conceptions of how crystals help toward healing as given by many teachers in the arena. I have come to recognise much of my understandings from the crystals themselves, the true teachers, as well as teachings from my guides and from those who many refer to as ascended masters.

I hope to be writing a book on the concepts I have learned over the years, to show how crystals work with us on a deep and intrinsic level of being and how they affect the hologramatic matrix around us – steering the characteristics of physical health via healing the none conscious aspects of our being.

So, how do crystals help toward healing? Conventional thinking is that the crystalline structure has the ability to radiate and absorb energy, in this way the crystal radiates beneficial vibrations that help clear and cleanse the area of placement, and such then dislodges any negative frequencies and blocks which are in turn absorbed by the crystal, transmuted and cleared.

In essence, crystals re-write the overbearing condition, take negative energy and transmute it. Placed on to a Chakra point, crystals help to bring the chakra on line and back into balance. Our Chakra’s can absorb negativity on a daily basis and are highly susceptible to stress and anxiety from both within us and from outside of us. If we exists in a stressful environment, our Chakras are likely to absorb the stress and slow down. Crystals help clear the Chakra’s by clearing the blocks and negativity from them, opening them up to the healing energies of nature and returning them to perfect optimum balance.

As such they can act like a hoover, and will themselves need clearing and cleansing after every treatment. A crystal can be cleansed by holding it under running water and leaving to dry on a window sill, or in the smoke of incense, the water and the smoke carry the absorbed negativity away, dissimilating it. Crystals can be placed outside too, to be cleansed by the sunlight / moonlight energy – though care should be taken that strong sunlight does not bleach their colour. Amethyst, kunzite and rose quartz are stones that can be easily bleached by strong sunlight, and such can be left in the shade of trees etc to absorb the energy and not be damaged by the strong light affects. Crystals can also be cleansed with sound, Tibetan singing bowls, ting chards, bells etc can be used to clear and cleanse a crystal. Working with an un-cleansed crystal in healing / meditation can be likened to trying to hoover a house when the vacuum bag is full, not only will the hoover not collect any dust, it is likely to spill the dust it has within it outwardly into the environment – therefore it is highly important that crystals be cleansed before and after use as a matter of course.

The most simplest form of crystal healing is a Chakra balance, that is to work with crystals and colour in coordination with the chakra’s to clear and cleanse the Chakra system. The Chakra system is highly important to our well being in that each Chakra relates directly to physical correspondences within the body. A blocked Crown Chakra, for instance may be the cause of headaches / migraines / nightmares, and likewise a blocked Solar Plexus Chakra may be the underlying cause of IBS or other tummy issues, a blocked and dysfunctional Root Chakra may lead to one feeling ungrounded, unconnected with the earth and reality, confused and lost. A blocked or dysfunctional Chakra will lead to direct physical imbalances; by bringing the Chakra’s into balance we can in effect begin the body’s natural healing capability of bringing itself into harmony as nature intended.

And, the most simple form of Chakra balancing is to work with crystals of the quartz family, and by coordinating colour and crystals with each of the Chakras.

You can also combine this self treatment with the Star of David grid as above by setting out the grid and lying within it then placing one of the following stones on the appropriate Chakra.



Crystals for Chakra's

Root Chakra: a point 6 inches or so beneath your feet.
Crystal: Smoky Quartz, Rutile Quartz, Red Jasper, black tourmaline.

Base Chakra, at the base of the spine, crystals can be placed in-between the knees for ease.
Crystal: Red jasper, smoky quartz.
Colour Correspondence: Red or Black.

Sacral Chakra: 1 – 2 inches beneath the tummy button.
Crystal: Orange carnelian, dark citrine, rutile quartz.
Colour Correspondence: Orange.

Solar Plexus Chakra: 1 – 2 inches above the tummy button.
Crystal: Golden citrine, amber, golden Topaz.
Colour correspondence: Yellow.

Heart Chakra: Central point of the rib cage.
Crystal: Rose Quartz, kunzite, watermelon tourmaline, dioptase.
Colour Correspondence: Pink or Green.

Throat Chakra: in the throat area, the ‘dip’ at the base of the throat, where the collar bones meet.
Crystal: Blue lace agate, angelite, celestite.
Colour correspondence: Light blue.

Third Eye / Brow Chakra: at a central point of the brow, just above the eye brows.
Crystal: Amethyst, clear Quartz, herkimer Diamond, Lapis Lazuli, Sugulite, Apophylite pyramid.
Colour Correspondence: Indigo.

Crown chakra: the top most part of the head, at the central point of the scalp.
Crystal: Clear Quartz, Faden Quartz, Hermiker diamond, Azeztulite, Amethyst, Golden Citrine.
Colour Correspondence: White / clear, Golden.

Once you have placed the crystals on the chakra’s, your body will begin to align itself with the crystal frequencies, and allowing your self 20 minutes of alignment is often more than enough for each session. It’s therefore a good idea to set an alarm to bring you gently back after a 20 minute alignment – gentle music is the key because should you drift away, which is often the case, you won’t want to be started by thrash metal keying :rolleyes: in and jolting you back. Classical is good. :D

I’ve also included colour correspondences here too, as wearing certain colours has the ability to help re-energise the chakra system.

The crystals I have included here are simply suggestions, you may choose other crystals, however it is a good idea to choose a crystal that matches the colour correspondence and colour of the Chakra, for instance I would not suggest that you use black tourmaline on any other chakra than the Root Chakra, and likewise would not suggest using watermelon tourmaline on any other Chakra than the Heart Chakra.

Clear quartz can be used on any Chakra to good effect. Tumble stones (small polished stones) are often the best and cheapest crystals to use, and the flatter the stone is the better it is to place on the body as they wont roll off.

Healing Affirmations:

Clearing up your Guidance System.

i have worked with this affirmation a few times with people who feel that they are the victims of thought control from 'dark' ego centred and controlling forces.

It is a very powerful activation of Self Power and realisation.

There are a few examples of this dotted around the internet, and this is just one, it is by no means definitive.

It isn’t meant to be religious, although it does have some concepts of religion within it. I feel it is an aid toward the activation of ones own true power of Self, that it both lays claim to and affirms ones own true divinity, and it does so on a many different levels.

I’ve posted here so that people may choose to do with it as they will. If a certain part of it doesn’t resonate then it can be changed to suit, as no specific piece will ever address every occasion. If there is a need to add or take away passages or content, then provided it is worked with, with the intent of attaining Self, then I can’t see why it can not be altered.

This is not mine, btw. Although I have ben working with it from time to time since early 2003 ish.

I think that it came to bear from the conception that as the millennium opened and we were introduced to the concept of StarGates (which open as per numerical dates, ie: 01/01/2001, 09/09/09 etc in order to futher awareness) and the accepted shifts that we are undergoing within attaining greater spiritual understanding – and as a resulting factor it has been mooted that ‘dark’ energies, or controlling ego based agenda forces were manifesting as 'guides' for / to earth bound incarnate beings in an attempt to slow the progress of spiritual evolution. This was then put together as a tool to stop such controlling factors influencing our being.

I was driven to post this as an aspect that was raised within the entity removal thread.

Hi Merlincove. This is really good and thanks so much for posting this. I am familiar with aspects of this meditation, particularly "I am that I am" and "I Am the Mahatma".

It would be good if it could be put onto a cd with Singing bowls being sounded as a backdrop, would be a pretty powerful tool and very vibrational with the right sounds, some deep Tibetan bowls and maybe Tibetan prayer horns to give it some real power :D

i think a female voice would be nice, not mine for sure, i haven't go the voice for it.... tho i know a few people who have nice voices that would suit it really well.

i have a cd of His holiness the Dalai Llama chanting, he has a real peacefulness in his voice and a very melodic tone, makes me cry when I hear it, very powerful resonance, and I sometimes use that in meditation. It instils such a peacefulness in Self, and I find I can totally switch of and be at one with his voice, with my Self, lose mind and silence thought. It’s one of the only cd’s that has that effect on em. Of course the Dalai Llama is rather an exceptional guy and not everyone has that beautiful quality of being that can afford such a reaction. I don’t for sure, and my voice is perhaps more akin to town crier than meditative cd’s lol. But someone with a peaceful tone would make a great track for sure…

Merlincove, Tibetan bowls in the background would be really awesome and would enhance the listeners experience. I still feel that you should create it and if you feel that another voice would be better, then I support you.

It can actually help to put things into more clarity, something i think we all lose from time to time.

But i think that we are allowed to slip, it's what makes us all human - spent too long a time away, being diverted.

The heart centre of our being is a foundational part of who we are and how we interact with each other – a dysfunctional heart centre can cause untold chaos in our lives while a well balanced and in-tune-with-self heart centre allows us to be equally as balanced and attuned in the outward aspects of our life.

Consider the heart as a sacred space: if that sacred space is cluttered with old memories and passed hurt, it is difficult for us to move through life expressing love in an unconditional way. If, on the other hand that sacred space is airy, light filled and free form clutter and baggage, we will find that our outward expressions mirror the inward clarity.

With this in mind, here is a heart healing visualisation that we can use to de-clutter what is a foundational aspect of self.

You might like to read it through, memorise it and work with it at your own pace - or you might want to print it off and get a friend or partner to read it while you focus on the words and follow the mind map in your own time.

First of all, allow yourself a little free time, set aside a period of the day where you wont be disturbed, switch off the phone, close the curtains, maybe light some incense and find a still place by sitting in a comfortable chair and relaxing. Before you start you might like to set an alarm to calmly (no blaring claxons / beeps etc :D) wake you up should you drift off – if I set an alarm, I set it for 35 mins to give time to fully enter the visualisation and return without rushing.

Begin by breathing calmly – measure the breathes evenly with cyclical breathing, breathing slowly in through the nose and out through the mouth. With each breath allow your body to relax more and more and your mind to become still. If a thought arises, see it like a cloud in the sky, will the cloud away out over the horizon till it out of sight – focus the mind on the empty blueness of the sky, still mind and relaxed body…

Picture yourself standing in a meadow, the sky above you is crystal clear, birds sing and a soft calm breeze drifts through the meadows grass. In the centre of the meadow is a single tree, standing tall and proud, it’s branches rich with green leaf. For a moment just observe the tree from a distance, consider its size and shape and appearance to you. As you study it, you feel it calls out to you, and you begin walking toward it.

Feel the grass beneath your feet as you walk out across the meadow, feel the breeze on your face and the warmth of this place. As you near the tree, as you step into its into its energy field beneath its boughs, you begin to feel its energy: run a hand over the bark of the trunk, connect with it, how does it feel – does it feel familiar?

As you gently run your hand across the bark, slowly move around the tree, allow its energy to flow over you, as you embrace it, feel it embracing you.

There is a doorway in the tree trunk, it opens to your touch - just big enough for you to squeeze through, and as you squeeze in through the doorway, you enter into the inner sanctum of the tree, a wide hallway, seemingly much wider than the tree seemed from outside, with a single spiral staircase reaching upwards toward the branches high above.

Before climbing the stairs take a moment and sense the tree, its colour, texture, taste, aroma, the tree is alive,, hear the noise of the tree as it breathes, see the energy rushing up in pulses from the earth, feeding, nurturing. As you begin to climb the stairs, run your hand again over the soft wood of the walls as you ascend up the twisting spiral staircase, up and up and up. Round and round, up and up and up.

At the top, the staircase opens out into a large room with a single door at the far end, take a moment to look around the room, what do you see there?

Are there pictures on the walls, are there windows, what do you see on the floor? Explore the room, this is your room, your heart centre: your memories are here, represented perhaps by pictures, memorabilia, furniture, personal nik naks that all mean something to you.

How does the room feel to you, and how do you want it to feel?

Are there things here that you want to get rid of, past memories, old items that you may no linger need? Does the room need a spring clean?

You might want to light a fire in the hearth, open a few windows and let sunlight and fresh air in… If there are any changes you would want to make, ask the nature spirits to help you transform the room or help to tidy it.

You might want to bring in new furniture, hang pictures on the walls, light candles, sweep or polish the floor – whatever you want to do here, this is your sacred space, and it only takes a thought to manifest the changes you might want to make.

When you are happy with the room, when everything is in it’s own place, when all the memories are swept away it is time to open the door that leads out onto a porch and into the garden. Again take a look around the garden, see the flower beds and trees that are planted there, breathe in the warm scented air. The garden might be rich in colour and fragrance, it may be patioed or decked, and again, this is your garden and you can have it the way you wish – it is your sacred space.

Ask the nature spirits to help make the garden a beautiful place, weeding may need to be attended to, flowers planted and the lawns cared for – you might like a pond, and to fill it with vibrant and colourful fish: manifest your hearts desires through thought and see the garden transform. The nature spirits take away all the clutter and bring in colour and life, energy and vitality till your sacred space is the way you want it to be.

And this is your space, you can invite anyone you want to into your space, no one can come here without your asking – here is a place you can be at one with yourself, a quiet contemplation space, a space to relax in and enjoy beauty and love – a space you can share with those you love if you wish, a space for parties, a space to enjoy.

When you feel the time is right, give thanks to the nature spirits for their help, they will always be here for you if ever you need them.

As you come out from the garden, back into the room, bring in flowers from the garden and set them in a vase of water. The stairs once again beckon, and as you come to walk back down them to the doorway far below, take a look back at the room, see the changes you have made, see the beauty, clarity, light, warmth and colour that you have created.

The stairway winds slowly downwards, touch your hand against the inside of the tree’s trunk as you descend down the stairs, back to the doorway and out into the meadow. As you step back through the doorway, you feel the warm air touch your face, you turn and see the doorway melt magically back into the trees bark: give thanks to the tree, and know that whenever you feel the need to return to this sacred space, the doorway will always be open for you.

Feel the breeze on your face as you walk back across the meadow, feel the grass beneath your feet, with each step you take, take a deep breath, feel the air entering your nose, filling your lungs – feel it escape through your mouth as you breathe out, feel yourself coming back into awareness, hear the gentle sounds around you as you come back into your mind and five senses.
