Ask yourself, why is cannabis illegal?.

Is it because it is dangerous?.

Actually most of todays 'cannabis' is dangerous

Most of todays 'street cannabis' is adulterated, poisonous crap, this stuff will drive you mad and kill you, in essence it is not cannabis!. The governments control the flow, do you think they would get away with selling polluted cannabis if it was legal?.

Real (unadulterated) cannabis is a doorway to the truth.

This is why it is illegal!. It is dangerous to 'them'!.

Cannabis is the plant that "God" warned humans not to eat from, in the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:16-17: "And the Lord God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

(What else could be the tree of knowledge of good and evil?. Remember 1969, the "summer of love" and how it all went wrong when the CIA became involved.)

In addition, to those who are unaware of the more spiritual truths behind enlightment and to those bound by the material worldly "system", Cannabis is a "dangerous" plant because it causes mind alterations which force the consumer to question the deep nature of things via deep insights, including law, order and the very foundations of the system itself. When people question such things, usually anarchy occurs and the later is far from desirable.

While the connection is somewhat obvious, several people, including Christians who study the Bible usually do not acknowledge it. This probably stems from the fact that most people interpret literally God's "warning" as an explicit prohibition. This "warning" is the ancient Hebrews' effort to screen the unworthy ones from the profound insights that Cannabis provides. More on this subject, later.

Cannabis qualifies as a "tree of the knowledge of good and evil", and consuming it qualifies as a "Holy Communion", precisely because it's inherently tied to two key notions which are related to its consumption: CHOICE (with regard to WANTING to experience The Truth), and REVELATION (of The Truth).

Cannabis and Choice with Regard to Union With The Universal Mind.

Cannabis allows an individual's mind to get a glimpse of The Universal Mind. In this sense, consumption of Cannabis carries with it the inherent notion of a major "choice", exactly like in The Matrix Allegory. In a sense, people who have chosen to consume Cannabis, have exercised their freedom of choice by making this choice, in order to experience The Truth, similar to how Neo chose the red pill, so for them, it's pretty much over. Like in the Matrix: We are here to understand WHY we made this choice.

While intoxicated several notions which are otherwise inert or difficult to understand, become highly clarified. In fact, the clarification of such notions is so intense, that one would tend to classify Cannabis as a "revelatory" and Sacred plant, mainly because of its ability to expand the horizons of the mind.

The effects of intoxication are reported to be subjective, but whatever the case may be, Cannabis seems to cause the mind to expand, until it reaches "God". This subjective feeling of "reaching God", can be found exactly in the Serpent's quote in passage Genesis 3:4: "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5": "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.".

Under intoxication, the Ego, or should I call it, "the seat of consciousness" wants to experience what it is like to "be" God. This is of course a highly dangerous event, resembling a runaway train. The Self while intoxicated gets drunk with the idea of godhood and wants to linger in it as long as possible.

"Knowing good and evil" to a certain extent becomes true under the influence of Cannabis. Plainly put, the free associations which take place in one's mind while intoxicated bare extreme resemblance to one suddenly having a deep revelatory experience about "The Truth". It is exactly this Truth, which is spoken of in John 8:32: "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.".

The Memory Problem and the Degeneration of Holy Communion into a Rite With Wine

What Christians call "the Holy Sacrament/Eucharist" is but a remote memory remnant of the rite that the very first enlightened ones remember. This is related to the memory problem, analyzed elsewhere. Unfortunately, because of this memory problem and because of other obvious reasons, "the Holy Sacrament" has degenerated into an entirely different practice, having nothing whatsoever to do with the true meaning of what a "Holy Sacrament" was.

It is only natural that modern churches have distanced themselves from Cannabis, since the awareness Cannabis provides, eventually gives one insight which goes contrary to established laws, religious, state or otherwise. Cannabis causes the mind to be associated with a peaceful sensation of belonging to the entire universe, with obvious insight into the hows and whys things work in our world. This naturally opposes the purposes of the rich and powerful (including those who sit on top of official churches), so it had to be outlawed, because it promotes this very mind-set.

Therefore most Christian churches todate have lost the "true" meaning of this communion and have substituted it for wine. As a result, it appears no official church holds the actual true teachings of Christianity anymore.

Believers and Non-believers in "Jesus"

Several people insist on a demystification of the Cannabis experience, claiming that the experience itself is always subjective, thus all connections to religion are pure bunk, resulting from additional bogus mental associations. Therefore, we have two classes of Cannabis users: Those who immediately recognize "God" behind the experience, and those who simply view it as a "recreational drug".

Those who view Cannabis as a Sacred experience, are the true followers of "Jesus" and those who view Cannabis a recreational drug are those who consider "Jesus" a plain (existent or not) human being and otherwise don't view him as the "Son of God".

The above distinction becomes important, because it is easy to see that the true identity of the principal idea of "Christ", is nothing more than the very first Cannabis experience itself. According to ancient Gnostic texts, the Genesis' Serpent WAS Christ, who showed Adam and Eve the way to enlightment. The allegory then becomes quite obvious now, from a literal interpretation of Genesis: Adam and Eve (the first humans) had coexisted with the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (Cannabis) since the very beginning, but were unaware of its presence, until they tasted it. How did they taste it? With the help of the Gnostic Serpent (The Christ), who somehow "knew" about it.

Christ as the Cannabis Experience

In a literal interpretation of Genesis, the Christ/Serpent is The Cannabis Experience as an ideal. The experience itself manifests initially as "The Serpent of Wisdom", exactly as "The One" character manifests initially in the Matrix scenario according to Morpheus, who when the Matrix was first made, "had the ability to change The Matrix at will". Again according to Morpheus, "he was the one who freed the first one of us...". In the Gnostic dogma, the one who freed us from the bonds of God was the Serpent of Wisdom.

It is interesting that in the following "diagram" of the names of God (from Athanasius Kircher's Oedipus Aegyptiacus (1652-54)), the names are all appended to what looks like a huge plant:
http://ioannis.virtualcomposer2000.com/writing/figs/names_of_God.jpg
In the words of Jesus himself, John 14:6: "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Literally, no one can attain perfect understanding about "The System", unless one experiences Cannabis.

Again in terms of the Bible, John 6:46: "No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father." Literally, no one knows perfectly (or can describe accurately) the Father/System, except the Cannabis experience itself. Only the Cannabis experience itself "sees" the Father directly.

In other words, Christ is that which allows man to come close to God. But so is Cannabis. Christ then, literally translated, IS The Cannabis Experience. The Cannabis Experience is He/She/It who has an overall view of things, metaphysically or spiritually. It is exactly this "overall view of things" which is the root of the Greek word "THEOS". Literally, The Overseer.

I view Cannabis as something with both spiritual, recreational and medical uses. I have to say some of my greatest revelations came with the aid of it and I can see what you're saying, although it seems a very Christian perspective. Nothing wrong with that... if taken metaphorically I can see alot of the things you say lining up with other forms of belief, but still belief none the less. Which in my opinion doesn't really take us anywhere. It's great for trying to communicate an idea, a concept, but in truth other people are rarely able to grasp these things through word, they have to come to it themselves.

To me Jesus, Cannabis and Christ are just words. Just illusions, they all play their role in the game, manipulating the systems just like their meant to. It's all very beautiful, chaos in order and order in chaos.

And about street weed, well, never buy from someone you don't know or trust.

There are a million different ways one could interpret the information given in OP's post. What those bible quotes really are pertaining to I have no idea, maybe it's cannabis, maybe it's not. All I know is that I was a very heavy smoker of hash and green and the best thing I ever did was to stop.

I used to convince myself that it was somehow doing me some kind of spiritual good but in reality all it served to do was to make me wake up each morning feeling as if I had the flu. I don't care what people say, it's highly addictive and turns people into vegetables. Not only that, it stinks and tastes like shit.

I guess everything effects people differently. I've seen it do alot of good, and I'm not talking from just personal experience. I find the vegetable comment particulary curious since I'd say it has a rather opposite effect on me. I don't mean to debate you though. I'm tempted to go over your points and offer examples, but like you said, you don't care what other people say, and I'm not trying to change anyones opinion. Which brings me back to my intial point.

I guess everything effects people differently. And just incase you want to reply saying "I was just like you, one day you'll look back and see how it ruined your life and regret all of this." Well, I guess we all have to make our own mistakes.:D

That's just my experience, and the experience of lots of people I used to smoke with.

I agree with whoever said that anything up to two puffs is positive, after that it all gets a bit touch and go. Panic attacks, paranoia that sort of thing.

I'd like to hear your opinions. And I won't tell you you'll regret it one day, because one should never regret anything. What's the point? For me, it was an experience, and all experiences are good in one way or another. If you enjoy it and get something positive from it, who's to say otherwise?

I'm not sure of the correct technique. How would I do that? I looked it up on google, but when I tried the technique, nothing happened.

Totally agree with you about regrets. As long as I can remember I've made a vow to never regret anything. Personally I've never had any panic attacks or paranoia, never anything unpleasant at all really. I've had rough experiences on other substances, but even then I was always able to maintain control, it's almost like a mental workout, builds up alot of endurance, but I don't reccomend that to anyone, could be very dangerous if someone isn't ready for it. Going to hell and back can sure have it's rewards though, just make sure you come back...

Well we do have a THC receptor in the brain...i wonder why that is there?

I have never felt the need to smoke it, well perhaps twice to help me sleep due to back pain, as I was doing myself damage with pain killers.
But who is to say it is not there for a purpose. This is just one of many takes on the THC brain receptor thing.....

are there real hard-core biologist doctorate types who say there is a THC receptor? I mean, can I get a reference to a peer-reviewed journal on this?

Not being antagonistic at all, but extremely curious.

As to the vegetable comment, It was my experience (haven't smoked in 8-1/2 years) that there are very many different kinds of MJ. Some get you a body high (usually lower grades) and some get you a head high (usually the better stuff). The head high stuff is very much preferable to the "spiritual" type of person, whereas either is "fine" for the recreational user. The way I smoked was all alone, as I had no friends at the time who could understand me. I would get a one-hitter and do that, hold it as long as I could, then do another. I knew I had enough when I started forgetting about the one-hitter in my hand :D That was usually about two or three hits. Sometimes four.

Really, it's very bad to just roll a fatty and make yourself smoke it till it's gone. It's a sure way to shoot past the head high and into the body high, (which is the result of an overdose of THC combined with a higher CBD/THC ratio, fostered by heating MJ before burning it. That's what my old friend told me, anyway.) That's probably what you were doing, Trinity. Since I was on a very tight budget, I landed on my method by necessity, but it by chance appeared after a while, to be the best way to go.

Disclaimer: I don't endorse the taking of any psychoactive substances, least of all the legal garbage!

The way I see it is that The "God" which created us is the Sun. The ancient people knew this, this is why they worshipped it. The Son on the cross is just symbolic of the Sun.

The bible was written by men who were being contacted by entities who want total control over us who claim to be God. They gave us laws and rules to live by.

This is why I was using quotes from the Bible.

To me The Bible says don't smoke cannabis, (the tree of knowledge of good and evil), in other words don't touch the plant/tree that opens your mind. Because "God" doesn't want you to know the truth and to be free.

As for people who have had bad experiences with cannabis, it all depends on your state of mind in the first place. Also as I mentioned previously, Most of todays cannabis is polluted with all sorts of substances which are very unhealthy for both body and mind.

Free the weed, plant a seed!.
