It seems microchipping of dogs is to become mandatory. This is to protect against sheep attacks and for easy identification don't you know.
Bollocks.
It seems to me collars have been perfectly servicable for years.
The chip, of course, will have details of the dog and the owner stored on it, Inserted under the skinbetween the shoulder blades and its going to benifit us all no doubt:mad:.
I'm being sarcastic by the way. I wish there was a sarcasm smiley face.
This comes after the counsel has put a ban on 11 breeds of dogs.
People who live on counsel property aren't allowed to have such dogs as Bull mastiffs and rothweilers(rothchilders?), also pit bulls and a bunch more.
This is clearly aimed at gangstres who use these breeds to guard there drugs and whatnot. BUt what about the genuine dog lovers? SOD THEM, says the counsel. These dog are vicious and need to be controlled says the counsel.
BOLLOCKS!!!!!
The majority of dog maulings are by Labradors and retreivers.
I don't have the links with me but i'll post them later.
I'm off to lunch now
Peacelove and cake.
