Why do people deny the global warming?

Out of interest, why do people on here and in rl deny global warming, what is the evidence that it was a fake, and why was it supposedly faked ? and also why is there such strong charges placed against those that deny it openly ?

I personally believe that global warming is real as my family relatives where in one of the disaster zones of a tsunami. Please no page long quotations of wikipedia

Water takeovers, food takeovers.

There is also plenty of evidence of lying politicians, just look at the last link im my sig, that is but one example of leaders lying about rainfall, claiming it is caused by man, and backing it up by diverting farmers irrigation water into evaporation pans so that the end of the system does appear to be empty...namely the menindee lakes and Lake Eyre in the Australian example.

In that example, food producers are currently not allowed to take any water to irrigate at all in many parts of the system right now, lack of rainfall due to man made climate change is the excuse, however big corporations like KBR and Veolia are allowed to pump as much as they want out, as they run the household water supplies and make huge profits.

Also many of the climate models are based on a very short time span, we have not had the capabitity to have accurate weather records back beyond the last century or so.

Just think about who loses and who wins if everybody goes along with what the 6 o'clock news tells us.

The sun is changing. It has very little to do with people using incandescent light bulbs and recycling our plastic. I think people should be mindful, you know, to help the planet out, but I don't think humanity is to blame for the planet heating up.

Global warming happens when there is global warming I assume. Since, the world temperature has dropped by .74 degrees last year, I guess we are witnessing global coldning.

I don't think anyone denies "global warming" as a natural phenomenon, as has been evidenced as the normal cyclic nature of the earth and its environment.

However, global warming is NOT a man made event.

We're not that fucking powerful, no matter how much we'd like to think we are.

The whole thing with global warming panders to the human ego, It's all us our fault etc.

Just look at the Medieval Warm Period where temperatures were much hotter than now. The Romans grew vineyards in northern England.
