I always associate eye colourings with nature. Blue eyes are like the skies at top level, green eyes are like the middles and are flora, trees and plants and brown eyes are like the earth and base. I'm not sure about other colours like lilac, grey or black (true black being the rarest ever colour - most black eyes are just very dark brown). Maybe grey eyes are like rock and represent mountains and lilac eyes just leave me clueless....maybe flowers?? I've never actually seen anybody irl with lilac eyes yet and couldn't find any google images of them that didn't appear photoshopped so I'm not sure they really exist. I've definitely seen people with lovely grey eyes. Black eye colour yet to see maybe they belong to the devil.:D
Interesting articles on eye colour:

Through the years, these marvelous eye colors have been indicated to reflect many a personality trait. Accordingly, brown eyes symbolize sharpness, blue eye, sweetness and green eyes, mischievousness!

i used to have green/brown eyes, now they're blue/green. I swear I heard somewhere years ago that our eyes change colour with our mood and also with age. I love looking into peoples eyes, they are the most beautiful aspect of our external self, along with the smile.

I like women with crystal-green eyes, although crystal-orange/light-brown is probably the most attractive eyes I have had eye-contact with... For a moment, she blinked with just one of her eyes just for me. :)
(I did not ask her to, I was just being cooperative, and we where probably on a similar wavelength.)

Sorry, I had not intention of poisoning your mind, it seemed relevant and thought you would agree there may be a connection between depression or other moods that effect us over long periods of time which might have a reactionary change to our eye colour. :(

If your feeling down for a long period of time, for whatever reason, you could call it depression. It might also be something your not aware of, for instance, you have a low self-esteem, lack drive or ambition. It can manifest as only negative emotions like being at a party and you know you have no reason not to feel involved and having a good time but you just can't. Post-natal depression can effect women for years after giving birth and cause problems in their connecting with their off-spring and/or sex life, for instance.

Three main elements within the iris contribute to its color: the melanin content of the iris pigment epithelium, the melanin content within the iris stroma, and the cellular density of the iris stroma.[7] In eyes of all colors, the iris pigment epithelium contains the black pigment, eumelanin.
from wikipedia
What is melanin?

Melanin is produced in the pineal gland. Abundantly found in primitive organisms such as fungi, as well as advanced primates. Furthermore within each living organism, melanin appears to be located in the major functional sites. For example, in vertebrates, melanin is not only present in the skin, eyes, ears, central nervous system, it can also be found in the pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, thymus gland, adrenal gland, and the barathary gland. Melanin is abundantly present in the viscera, including the heart, liver, arteries, the muscles, and the gastrointestinal tract. Thus, within each and every living organ which aids the human body melanin appears.

The first time I encountered racism was about my green eyes, I was just 5 and in the Belgrave hospital for sick children for a small operation, would have been 1964.
A black nurse was sent to cut my toenails, I had never experienced hatred apart from my parents, so was most suprised at this womens manner, she said I was evil as I had green eyes like a snake, she then proceeded to cut my nails, twisting them so it hurt.

I've heard it's a link to the times of Celts, Atlantis, Irish and so on.
Blue eyes less so.
I've found that people who have them are often terrible to behold when they have the demon drink in them. Like another person is at the wheel.
Maybe where we get the term 'green eyed monster' from?

"She remembers the moment. The photographer took her picture. She remembers her anger. The man was a stranger. She had never been photographed before. Until they met again 17 years later, she had not been photographed since.
The portrait by Steve McCurry turned out to be one of those images that sears the heart, and in June 1985 it ran on the cover of this magazine. Her eyes are sea green. They are haunted and haunting, and in them you can read the tragedy of a land drained by war. She became known around National Geographic as the "Afghan girl," and for 17 years no one knew her name."

My wife has blue-green eyes but mine are hazel. I think that eyes tend to stand out more because of their brightness rather than their colour. Many people have blue eyes but the ones you tend to notice are those with a really intense brightness

I have hazel eyes and a lot of guys say that they like them as they've been described by a psychic as classically 'Aquarian' eyes - that are almond shaped. I love men's eyes, especially if they're like mine, almond or really large and haunting. I prefer brown eyes over any colour as they're more warmer and inviting. One colour I don't like is that really pale blue - like an icy blue shade, leaves me cold, lol! I like greeny/grey eyes on men too. All my favourite 'celebrity' men have beautiful eyes.

Can you not perceive the sin and ego in your bias? If you label a group special, you look down upon others in equal measure. If you only love those who are beautiful, you dismiss and neglect the ugly. If you recognize beauty and are swayed by it, you shun ugliness in disgust. Do you see that it is wrong to be like this? Do you think God or a Saint loves those with green eyes more than other colors? Do they see a distincation at all? They do not. There is nothing more or less to be found in one pair of eyes over the others because they all are windows to the divine self of selves.

Oh my God, you said it. My ex has green eyes, and when he gets angry, the shit hits the fan immediately. It is truly something to behold. Coincidentally, his eyes randomly shift to blue. I wonder if when his eyes are green he is lying to me. They're usually green when we're fighting and he's acting out of line, trying his hardest to hurt me and twist the conversation to his own territory.

Eye colour is determined by two different methods, one for the colour and the other for intensity of the colour. These both work together so you can get deep eye colouring or pale.
Brown is B
Green is G
Blue is b
You get two of each from each parent so four genes in total. B or brown is so dominant that you only have to have one of these, for you eye colour to be brown which is why 95% of the worlds population is brown eyed.
Green is dominant to blue but many people do not carry this gene at all ... they simply have the big B turned on as in B and Brown or turned off as in b and blue.
Sets of genes will look like this ..
BBGG - Brown eyes
BbGG - Brown eyes
BBGb - Brown eyes
BbGb - Brown eyes
BBbb - Brown eyes
Bbbb - Brown eyes
bbGG - Green eyes
bbGb - Green eyes
bbbb - Blue eyes.

That is all very interested, but I'm more concerned with the spiritual revelation that is discovered through eye color. What do they mean for people spiritually? Certainly everything has a meaning and a quality to it. While some might be quick to assume it's just an eye color, you can tell people with the same eye color act more similarly than people who do not. It's sort of like how the Zodiac also points out things about people's personality.
What do brown eyes mean?
What do blue eyes mean?
What do green eyes mean?
What do hazel eyes mean?
I find it extremely interesting to contemplate. It might also explain why some people are attracted to particular eye colors. The eye is the window to the soul and all that...
Coincidentally, why are red-heads so hot-headed? It must be a genetic trait that is accompanied by red hair color. Why do (natural) blondes act a certain way as well, and natural brunettes?

Skin colour works like this
Everyone has six genes, three from each parent. The darker shade is dominate, it works like this ....
Dark dark brown as in black has 6 alleles and white has probably none lets say
So lets look at it like Big and little letters
eg someone who inherits bbbbbb is going to be very pale skinned
Someone who gets BBBBBB is going to be black
Someone who gets BbBbBb is going to be coffee coloured.

Who's talking about beauty, I am talking about eyes man, I notice green ones more than I do others, where is the sin in that?
And thanks for speaking to me of god, saints and their preferences for types of behaviour by mankind, I will remember to act more in line with God's principles in future, and amend my naughty behaviour, thank you.
