I work literally all day on a pc and I think my eyes are starting to f up - sometimes I'll come on here and the writing looks jaggy. I'm only 19, is there any way to naturally improve eyesight, like certain foods.
Carrots I guess lol.

I have heard of eye exercises. I found it on the internet some time ago but don't remember them. I'll get back to you when I find some

There's been one or two threads on eyesight in this same forum.
One not so very long ago...
Also a thread on asthaxantin which is well worth checking out in relation to eyesight.
Good luck!

Eye exercises can be very useful. The Art of Seeing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_of_Seeing) by Aldous Huxley is an interesting book on the subject that your local library should be able to get hold of for you.
Huxley reviews the unique status of vision, according to the prevailing medical view
If orthodox opinion is right – if the organs of vision are incapable of curing themselves ... then the eyes must be totally different in kind from other parts of the body. Given favourable conditions, all other organs tend to free themselves from their defects. Not so the eyes. ... it is a waste of time even to try to discover a treatment which will assist nature in its normal task of healing. ...
He quotes Matthew Luckiesh, Director of General Electric’s Lighting Research Laboratory who wrote:
"Suppose that crippled eyes could be transformed into crippled legs. What a heart-rending parade we would witness on a busy street! Nearly every other person would go limping by. Many would be on crutches and some on wheel chairs."
Huxley goes on to stress that when legs are imperfect, the medical profession make every effort to get the patient walking again, and without crutches if at all possible.
"Why should it not be possible to do something analogous for defective eyes?"
The orthodox theory is, on the face of it, so implausible, so intrinsically unlikely to be true, that one can only be astonished that it should be so generally and so unquestioningly accepted. ... At the present time it is rejected only by those who have personal reasons for knowing it to be untrue ... It is therefore no longer possible for me to accept the currently orthodox theory, with its hopelessly pessimistic practical consequences.

On a practical note Vitamin C protects blood vessels damage, particularly the small vessels in areas like the eyes. Ensuring a good regimen of nutritional support like quality anti-oxidants is a good first step. There is a brand called Bio selenium with zinc which is good. Also get the timed release Vit C with citrus Bio flavanoids they are protecting as well. You need timed release because your body will only absorb about 3omg at one go and pee out the rest unless its slow release which gives you a continuous 30mg dose all day, 500mg is o.k.
Less straightforward is the link between calmness and blood vessel widening. Basically when you relax your body opens up. Right down to the blood vessels so everything gets more oxygen and therefore more nutrients and all the other good stuff, prana, chi whatever you want to call it. Also make sure your drinking enough filtered water. Hope this helps.

Then stop spending literally all day on the pc. You're like a fat person asking for a weight loss cure without having to give up fast food. Why should I feel sorry for you? If your lifestyle is crap, your health is crap.
Btw, I noticed you like to talk a lot about yourself. Maybe you should take a break.
As for eye sight, 1 drop of castor oil in each eye and rubbed on top of the eye lids each night. This is said to cure cataracts over time. Carrots are good as well, but so are many things like vegetables and exercise.

Btw, it was the vaccine I got when I was in Romania that caused my cataracts. I had normal vision then it turned so bad that when I was taken to get a prescription, the optomitrist was horrified at how bad my vision was. Have you guys ever seen toddlers with glasses? WTF!?
I believe poor vision like this has to do with large doses of mercury in or near the eyes either from vaccines, fillings or both. Certain parasites or the bodies immune system taking the shape of living organisms inhabit the mercury contaminated areas, converting the mercury into a less lethal form and therefore creating more of an immunity.

Don't stare at your screen for extended periods. Look up every few minutes and let your eyes focus on other objects at varying distances. Also, it is good to get up and walk around some at least once every hour to get blood moving through your body better.
Supplementally, Billberry is good for the eyes.

Though sunlight is the primary way to keep and improve vision. Do not wear sunglasses! One of the worst things you can do for the eyes.

Relaxing the eyes is a good trick. The problem is that it's a deep, permanent kind of relaxation needed. And that is connected to the subconscious and to all other tensions inside the body. So it's a huge kind of relaxation needed so to speak.
I use Eckhart Tolle's body awareness practice which is simply about putting conscious awareness into different parts of the body, which can also be used for the eyes. It's a simple practice in theory but very difficult in practice in my experience. A lot of patience needed.

The Art of Seeing is based on The Bates Method...........

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'll definitely look in to what's been posted. Unfortunately I'm not ready to not work all day on the PC, part of the reason I do so is to have at least some freedom from the system.

I think there's something to it - I think the myth is that it makes you see in the dark.

The reason your eyesight gets bad when you work on a computer too much is because your eyes stay focused on that 18-24" distance so long that those muscles around your eyes get stronger while the others get weaker. This causes astigmatism issues for one. There are special glasses you can get to counteract that effect. I think they are called prism lenses or something like that. But the best thing you can do is exercise your eyes by frequently looking away from your screen.

Cool, carrots are good anyways. Also rolling your eyes in circles is good exercise for your eyes.
