Nessie Spotted on Google Earth
28-Aug-2009

Click to enlarge No, we're not dreaming! Jason Cooke was surfing through Google Earth when he decided to look at a satellite photo of Loch Ness in Scotland, and spotted an image which may be the Loch Ness monster.
In the August 27th edition of the Guardian newspaper, Stephen Moss quotes Nessieologist Cameron McSporran as saying, "It's a dramatic and compelling image. It is probably the most important sighting since 1974, when campers at the Loch Ness caravan park saw a vast green scaly creature with a curved head and a long, slender body at four in the morning. It requires a great deal of detailed analysis and close consultation with the Highlands and Islands Tourist Board, but I think at last we are close to silencing the doubters."

Could Nessie be in Florida too? On the WPTV website, James Wieland talks about a similar creature that's been spotted in the Lake Worth Lagoon. Wieland quotes biologist Thomas Reinert, who watch a video of the creature, as saying, "I can't definitely say what it is. I can speculate but we need more evidence to determine the identity of the Lake Worth muck monster."

He quotes Greg Reynolds, who took the video, as joking, "Maybe Nessie's vacationing in South Florida!"

So what do you guys think, i think it could just be a picture of a boat, you can see the propeller disdurbancies on the water behind the object but there seems to be no other ones visible????

It's a compelling picture. It could indeed be Nessie. Another possibility could be a partially submerged tree floating about, though it doesn't look too likely. This one is a little harder to write off than other pictures I've seen.

Yes indeed you could be right about a partially submerged tree floating about, is there not a way of enhancing this image for greater clarity?

Its a boat on the water. The legs if you want to call them are breaks from the boat. For gods sake lets not post ebay google earth crap on this forum as its only marketing for these services. They want news like this as it promotes the service of these organisations and programs.

The image is zoomed out. Go to google earth and zoom in and you will see its bullshit.

Ask yourself is the loch ness monster white like a Albino or are you stupid.

True, i managed to zoom on it and it does look like a boat with breaks in the waves behind it.

Its a single propellor power boat. Bow wave emanating from the bow, stern wave from the stern and the one on its own in the centre is prop wash.

Simples.

Cheers

Cameron McSporran??? surely that's got to be a joke name.
Either way he needs to pop down to his local opticians. It's a boat you goon. (McSporran - not OP:) )
