Thanks for the heads-up on this guys. Dean certainly looks like it's shaping up to be a rough ride! I hope something comes along to weaken it before it hits land... :o

Hurricane Dean pounds Jamaica as it passes south of island
Hurricane Dean battered the southern coast of Jamaica with heavy rains and surf as its eye passed offshore late Sunday, apparently sparing the Caribbean island the worst of its 145 mph winds.
Ronald Jackson, Jamaica's disaster preparedness director, said at least one house had collapsed, but there were no known serious injuries.
At 11 p.m. ET, Dean's eye was located 135 miles (215 km) west-southwest of Kingston, the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, reported. Its top winds of 145 mph (232 km/h) made it a strong Category 4 storm, with hurricane-force winds extending 60 miles from its center.

AccuWeather reports: “As of 11 a.m. EDT Monday, Hurricane Felix was located 265 miles south-southwest of Kingston, Jamaica. Maximum-sustained winds are 160-165 mph, making Felix a Category 5 hurricane. It is tracking west at 21 mph. The surface pressure has risen slightly over the last few hours and is now 940 millibars, or 27.76 inches of mercury. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles from the center, and tropical storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles. A hurricane warning is in effect from Limon, Honduras, to the Honduras/Nicaragua border, including the Caribbean coast of Guatemala and the entire coast of Belize.
“Hurricane Felix will maintain Category 5 strength and make landfall near the Nicaragua and Honduras border Tuesday morning. Felix will continue in a west-northwest motion through Central America, possibly returning over water for a short time before heading through Belize and Guatemala. As Felix interacts with land, it will quickly lose strength. Continuing on its west-northwest track, Felix could also re-emerge over the waters of the Bay of Campeche later in the week before weakening further over eastern Mexico.”
