View Full Version : We Irish, living out of state demand our vote

Our vote should be heard, just because we live in N.I. or England, Wales or Scotland, we and our voice should be heard. There are more of us outside the 26 Counties and we have long memories and family still at home.
Beware the betrayed voters Ireland! We remember Michael Collins and how you betrayed him.
We are card carrying members of the population and passport holders. No one has the right to disenfranchise us.
Especially since the UK Ltd. stole their referandum from the voters. This had been promised?
There are many millions of us.
I demand my VOTE.

I'm sure Brian Cowen, current Taoiseach of Ireland is a regular here on the forums and will take your post in to a serious consideration.
Anyway, dolores1 good luck to you with that NO vote in this current economic situation... I'm sure Irish can't wait to distance themselves even more from EU..... not.

Most Irish people are becoming a joke. I'm Irish and I'm the first who is going to say that a loud. My generation are a race of wasters. The truth hurts and it's hitting home. We have turned into a self obsessed drinking materialistic nation. Alcohol consumption is one of the worst in Europe. Drug abuse and smuggling has increased. Junk food craze has risen. We are one of the fattest in Europe to been one of the most thinnest. We have become one of the most polluted nations in Europe when we used to have the title of been the most pollution free environment. We don't have respect for our environment. We don't pick up our litter and we are way behind Europe when it comes to recycling. We don't look for Renewable s energy sources and we have one of the most attractive easy attainable sources beside us like wind and sea wave technology. Our country has the best location for wind power in Europe and we don't use it. lol. We have the Green party in coalition with the main government right now and that is enough to tell you who absurd it is. We them in government and we are still no where near any country in Europe in cleaning up our act.
We have a government that built a money making toll road ploughing through the Tara Skyne valley that was severely protested by the people. The motorway was not needed at all. A public transport system was favoured and far more economical for the local population. But the government wants to make money as a priority over reality and the respect of our environment and I'm no tree hugger or anything.
I'm not surprised we let another re vote.

The Celtic Tiger bent over a long time ago with cheeks apart, and the Vatican stepped in to bring up the rear, and the North took the Monarchy in their mouths and swallowed the lot. Both sides got fucked repeatedly.
But in truth to fight the NWO the only hope the UK has if it came to all out war between the people and the government would be all those nasty Irish terrorists that were looked down on for so long in Northern Ireland, "On both Sides", scary feckers they may have been, they still didn't give a flying feck about what they were up against.
How many countries took on the clutches of the Vatican and the reach of the Monarchy at the same time, and even fought each other!, and are still around to tell the tale?
You have to admit as terrorists go the Irish are the most polite at it, at least most of them would tell you where the bomb is and what time its going to go off....lol, and it really was that way for a long time. Then as as peace became a possibility you started to see the splinter groups of course that just loved the killing, they all had principles at one time but things just got stupid and pointless after 20 years, then it just got to the point were no one was safe to walk the streets and it didn't matter who or what you were.
The Irish are lost without no one to fight lol. I bet the majority can't wait for the NWO to kick off so they can blow shit up again..lol

Well unlike you I think before I speak,
I was born in Belfast in the early 70's and lived there yuntil I was 30 then I moved to the States. While there I have seen my fair share of Bombs go off and people getting shot, I and basically everyone else in Northern Ireland lived with Martial Law for those 30 years and we were used to it. Directly outside my house was a "peaceline" between a Protestant and Catholic neighborhood, I had an army checkpoint outside my house with a sniper lying in my garden looking one way and another across the street looking the other way for more days out of the week than not. All this going on with a Wessex chopper 500-1000 ft in the air for basically up to 20 hours of the day "everyday" for years.
I was 9 years old when I was first shot at from a distance just because of the tension between 2 districts of Belfast, I have seen people throw homemade grenades (coffee Jar bombs) at the police and army in broad daylight, riots involving hundreds of people throwing petrol bombs, people getting hit with rubber bullets, some members of my family being involved in the riots and getting hit with them too.
I have had friends die in the "troubles" both civilian and military and I have seen first fucking hand what religion does to a country. So the next time you let your self serving arrogant fucking attitude leave your semi conscious brain, ask a question and ascertain first if you are in the right before you commit it to text, one of us has no fucking idea what they are talking about and I know for a fact its not me.
So who is looking stupid now?

My response was a direct result about being told I don't know what I am talking about, and instead of being asked a simple question like "where are you from" he just assumed I am on the other side of the world throwing out random guesses about things in Ireland.
And for someone who repeatedly talks about the higher self and higher vibrations his ego sure does create a lot of negativity where ever he goes.

I don't speak negatively wherever I go. I ust cannot stand people like you who come on here saying such ignorance like. It was them that did it was the irish, it was the Catholics or it was them over there.
It takes TWO TO TANGO. To be quite blunt. A lot of republicans retorted to terrorism because there is a 900 year bitterness that is like an open wound, and you saying such disgusting comments that don't help any situation at all tells me the sort of character you truly are.Not only that but behaving like thi only adds to the wounds.
I'm a nice guy. I'm not aggressive in nature at all but if you spoke like that to my face in this country for for a considerable amount of time I would smack you into the jaw. I don't get into fights. But i know for sure there would be a line of 4.3million friendly people queuing to smack you a right one.
Now next time be a little bit more careful on this topic, because when you judge irratically on sensitive vulnerable topics like this you will be bitten badly and you will deserve it I can assure you.
If you do not becareful infuture with your ignorannce be expected to be put back into your box on these issues of this nature. You have to take more responsibility for what you say about this topic. There is a responsibility involved here. I'm very serious and disturbed by your comments. Simply because it is incredibly biased and not actually the whole truth.

I think you need to snap back into reality and be a little more aware of just how idiotic your comments are showing to be. Nobody needs to ask you questions after the ranting you did on the previous page that were woefully inaccurate. I will not tolerate that kind of nonsense been spoken about my country or any country. Why don't you go back and read my first post in this section.
---------> http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1226918&postcount=5 <---------, and point me to the part where I said "either" sides terrorists were in anyway good and clever. I made a joke comparing terrorist around the world to Irish ones and its a joke also told by many an Irish comedian, in fact that's where I heard it and it made me laugh. What I did say is that both sides have very good merit for the start of the violence because unless you haven't been keeping up on current events, the British Monarchy and the Vatican are some of the root causes of the bloodshed in the world. I was speaking up for Irish people and there willingness not to take shit from anyone, yet you see it as me putting them down. So I like I stated in not so many words I can relate to both sides, because as I also stated "I AM FROM BOTH SIDES" you insignificant little snob.
"I bet your a loyalist" LMAO and you have the sheer nerve to say you never say anything negative, what you said right there was sectarian in nature and you didn't even notice yourself doing it, lol priceless.

You need to re- read your posts.
I have many shaking Irish heads at your comments. But obviously you lack in self awareness so of course your going to behave childishly and deny any responsibility for your biased inappropriate slandering of the Irish as terrorists. This is the problem and why neither side would drop their weapons because like you either of them are not going to admit responsibility for their actions and what they do. The loyalists will say it's the Irish fault(like you brought your point across) The republicans will blame the Loyalist's for the English colonial take over and likewise. It is childish, it is petty and it get's us nowhere. What you said was very unprofessional, unclean, and very rude. Your deliberately twisting it to suit yourself. That is what spoilt non responsible mis behaving children do when they get into trouble. They pass the blame onto their opponent.
You better snap out of la la land, and take some fucking responsibility for what you do and say and have said on this thread. I live here and I will not tolerate that crap. This country belongs to the people of Ireland from all walks of life.
You missed the point again. It takes two to tango. So please do not ever post such ignorance on these forums again, it will get you into serious trouble. I found it very insulting and highly measured slandering. I will admit however I'm all riled up because of it. Your comments were provoking, and is not acceptable. I'm glad your not on this soil. The world could do without people like you. Your attitude is the reason why there is war in many places throughout the world.
I asked you a direct question, it's funny that you didn't answer it. Because you are a loyalist bigot and that's why you left the country.
I'm neither catholic or protestant, but the behaviour coming from you is the same as any republican or loyalist terrorist. Simply because you do not take any responsibility for your behalf and what you say. You'd rather point at the Irish terrorists.
There is loyalists terrorists too. Isn't it ironic that you didn't blackened them.
This is the difference between you and I. I can discern and see both sides and look at the situation objectively without been biased and falling into bigotry.

Well knowing full well the dire situation Ireland is in with this referendum ive tried my best to talk to family and friends to give them opinions from outside Ireland.Ive rang and emailed lots of them giving them important facts that they have not heard about.I can't change everyone's opinion but I can at least reach out to the people I know.Surely this is a more positive action than sitting back and hurling insults at each other on a forum.(JMO):)

I agree but I do not and will not tolerate ignorance, apathy and bigotry.
I live in this country and I know the situation very alarmingly. I do not respect some repressed individual who behaves like a bigot and blames the Irish for the bombings in the north by nationlists. That was a very very wrong statement. It is not the only disgusting thing he said.
He might want a reality check and start learning about the history of ireland before he shoots his vile mouth.

This is so so true....
Ireland is one of the most dangerous places in the world along with many other religious countries! Bombs and shootings in Ireland have increased by over 100% (year on year) since the end of 'the troubles'.
Where are the current 'troubles' and what are they about?
Religion and the coin have the same goal.
Don't continue to make religion and 'trouble' for money.
Both of them stink and they should be banned!

There are more pressing battles to be fought, than those of forum egos.

Ladies and Gents,
I’ll admit I do not know much about what has gone on in Ireland and especially Northern Ireland, and to be honest I don’t really want to know. What I would like however is for the Irish people to settle their differences and learn to live together.
Let’s say if I was to come over and set off a bomb in Northern Ireland, you would not know who I am, so who would you blame? This is what I believe has happened in Northern Ireland. You have been divided by an invisible force, the people will look for anything to blame, religion etc.
I’ll be perfectly honest with you, if I was in charge of the UK I would give Northern Ireland back to the Irish, however I would say that the UK as a whole needs to learn to live as one, the same as the UK should be part of the rest of the world.
These wars are started to suit an agenda, that agenda is to divide and conquer. It’s time people stood back and stopped fighting and ask the question, why we are fighting?
I’d say we all need to start afresh and forget the past, I know it’s not easy for those who have been through wars etc, but you have to draw a line somewhere. It’s no good instilling hatred into our young and filling their heads with what has happened in the past.
I am a member of a motoring forum and I placed my thoughts in their Brainstorming section and this is what I posted :-
I’ll start by saying that, since coming over to Thailand I’ve learned just how everything shouldn’t be with regards the world as a whole and especially road safety, which affects peoples livelihoods. There will never be anything that will suit every country and the people within those countries. What it comes down to is finding a happy medium, this happy medium should be the basis for an internationally standardised code of practice, of which every country will abide by. There should be an international committee set up from representatives of each country. Those representatives should come from a properly educated back ground and, will have been fairly selected by the "people" of each individual country. This committee will form the basis for a democratic whole society who, will only have the well being of the people who elected them at heart.
As for the SafeSpeed campaign I was very saddened (as with others here) when Paul Smith passed away. Even though I didn’t agree with everything he said I still believed he had the UK and best interest for its citizens at heart. To me Paul would have made a great ambassador to represent the people of the world in road safety. I believe Clair can carry on from where Paul left off and do him great justice.
Clare, could I make a suggestion on the forums. Could we set up an area split into five categories.
Lorries, Cars, Motorcycles, Peddle Cycles and Pedestrians.
Within these groups people from all walks would be allowed to debate and eventually, through a democratic poll, would come up with an agreed standard. When the world comes to peace, these standards should be set in stone and use as the basis for an international standard that "must" be adhered to throughout the world.
I also believe that this principle should be the basis for governing all international standards.
There is an evil force in our world today and you need to keep up the fight for a fair and just society. The good will prevail and may the people who are trying to destroy our once beloved world perish in Hell.

This is another one I posted in the same forums:-
For those who don’t know me I joined SafeSpeed because I could see the way the UK was heading and how our Governments’ and their so called departments are using road safety as a tool for their own devises. I’ll be first to admit that I am by no means an angle and probably shouldn’t be here, that’s why I don’t make many contributions regarding road safety, I feel, who am I when I’ve made so many mistakes myself in the past. What I would say though, as the saying goes: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone....
I’ll also agree with others that since Paul’s death the site is straying off the road safety theme, IMO it’s doing so because people are starting to realise that it’s not just about road safety. These Governments’ are using road safety as tool to justify their control of the masses, cause confusion, cause dissatisfaction, making people angry which causes people to be less courteous, making people want to fight each other..... The list goes on and on.
There’s a document which is talked about allot on the internet called: THE PROTOCOLS OF THE LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION (it has a very good resemblance as to what is happening in our world today) which, if people are interested in their lives, their children’s and how they want to live, I’d recommend they read it. Yes, it has been said that it’s a fraud and conspiracy theory yet, if you look at what’s happening in the world, it’s not far from the truth. The people of the world need to wake up.
When you read the news people are starting to question just what our governments are doing. Look at how they have destroyed America, Iceland and now the UK, a country I was so very proud to be part of. Look at how they are destroying other countries and making people want to fight each other, look at how they are attacking Christianity. I’m not a church going person but I believe that everyone has a right to their own beliefs if it doesn’t affect other people.
What is happening in the world today is all about an elite body of people whose only goal is to drain every country of their money, take away anything that people own, take away their rights....gain control of that country and spread like a "virus" until they have done the same to the rest of the world.
I’ll be first to admit that the world cannot carry on at the pace it is but, there are ways to control everything that the "people" can agree on. I don’t know about others but I for one do not want to live in a world that is controlled by nutcases whose only desire is to make us all their slaves.
If there are any politicians or people of a high status out there who are trapped and feel they should come clean, then you should. What these people should start to remember is this elite body of people only want to keep a certain number of people alive so, there are many who are just being used until their services become redundant.
I hope for the sake of humanity that there are journalists and News paper reporters out there who still have an ounce of decency left in them, these are the people who can tell the truth about what’s "really" going on in our world today.
I’ll apologise to Clair if I have hijacked these forums but, it was (and still is) the first ever Forum I became involved with. If Clair feels that I should cease posting then that’s fine. Just remember this, they have us here discussing road safety when their goal goes allot further than that. It’s what they call "creating a distraction". At this moment in time we should all be more concerned about what is happening to our county, the rest of the world and, the people who live in it. I know deep down Paul had more than just road safety at heart.
If only I could have seen this years ago instead of being to engrossed in other things. There are allot more people dying by "other" means than there are from road accidents and, it’s our governments’ that are causing it. God be with us all. :(
Unless someone can convince me otherwise I cannot come to any other conclusion.
