Apologies to limelady for stealing the term 'vibrational murk' from a great post of hers I read several months back ;) It sounded cool and stuck with me ever since.

Are we in a vibrational murk?

Are tptb using world events, mass media, technology, rituals and chemical poisons in a highly-cohesive and planned way to tune in a new low-level frequency they want us all to resonate with?

What are your thoughts? How are they doing it? Examples of key events stretching back over the last few decades that point to something like this going on?

A very broad topic so feel free to approach it any way you want.

Awareness is power.

10 Steps To Raising Your Vibrations

Raising your vibration is the only effective way to get to the life
you truly want to live. While you are emitting a low vibration or
frequency your life will never really be in harmony and you will
constantly live with an inner feeling of discontent. It is this life
of discontent that you put up with and accept that keeps you in a
state of low vibration. When you find the courage to do something
about your low quality of life and choose to make things better you
are on the right track to raising your vibration. Raising your
vibration comes down to many factors and listed below are 10 key steps
that will definitely help towards raising your vibration immediately.

1. Be mindful of your thoughts. It is imperative to keep a close eye
on the habitual thoughts that enter your head. It can be difficult at
first to be aware of the many thoughts that constantly bombard your
mind all day long but by beginning to notice unwelcome or negative
thoughts you can start to replace them with a positive thought you
already have preprogrammed in your mind. When I say preprogrammed I
mean you have a positive thought in your mind, a thought that you know
makes you happy, that you substitute in place of any negative thought
that comes into your mind. The key to this thought substitution is to
spend as much time thinking positive thoughts and less time thinking
negative thoughts. By spending more mental time in the positive, this
will help raise your vibration.

2. Only talk about what you want, not what you don’t want. If you are
looking for a new relationship, don’t say things like “I can never
find the right person for me”. If you talk like this, this is exactly
what you will get. You get what you say and think. Even if you haven’t
been too successful in finding the right person previously, it doesn’t
matter. Change your words and you will change your life and what you
get in your life. Instead say something like “I intend to find the
perfect person for me”. Have a confident expectancy that at any time
you could meet this person and you will exponentially increase your
chances of finding them. The same thing goes for money, don’t talk
about not having enough money, either don’t talk about it at all or
only talk positively about having money and as what you want comes to
you, this helps raise your vibration as you feel better about yourself.

3. Stay away from negative or pessimistic people. These types of
people are running a very low vibration and their low vibration can
have a negative impact on your vibration level. Instead of raising
your vibration you will lower it and this will bring about more events
residing on a low vibration, like problems, stress and worry.

4. Spend some time not thinking. Yes that’s right, stop thinking so
much. To do this I like to take a walk through the bush or away from
the city and the noise. Go to a place in the country if you can and
take a long walk, concentrating on your surroundings, keeping your
mind off your usual thoughts. This is a great way to clear your head
and also help raise your vibration. If you can’t get away, try
listening to some soothing music and avoid thinking by concentrating
on the sounds.

5. Join groups of like minded people. Spend time with people
interested in the same things you like and learn at the same time.
Before I started writing for my website I took a 3 months community
college course in Writing. Not only did I improve my writing I also
got to spend time with other people who shared a similar interest with
me. I always walked away from each class feeling positive about being
a writer and this had a positive effect on my vibration as it made me
feel good about myself.

6. Give away something you can afford each week. Give away your time,
some money to a charity you believe in or give away something you
don’t use anymore but may be useful to someone else. What you give is
what you get in life, so by giving you will receive in one way or
another. Help others and you will be helped. You have a profound
effect on raising your vibration when you help others as it makes you
feel good from the inside.

7. Be aware of your actions. Everything you do comes back to you in
some way so always be wary of how you treat others and how you act in
all situations. How you treat others is how you will be treated, by
doing the right thing by everyone you come into contact with will help
to raise your vibration as others continue to do the right thing by
you. Treating everyone well will attract positive people and
opportunities into your life.

8. Avoid the television, radio and media in general. It is especially
important to avoid all news programs as they do much more harm to your
vibration level than they do good. By watching TV you end up taking in
so much negative energy it becomes confusing to your subconscious mind
and some of that negative imagery and energy gets absorbed by your
subconscious and elevates a feeling of fear from within. Most of the
media works by fear mongering, they want to shock you into a state of
fear so you keep on watching and the more you watch the more addicted
you become. This has a disastrous impact on your vibration level.

9. Stay optimistic at all times. This can be difficult to do
especially when you are in a crisis but when you are in a crisis
situation, this is when it’s most important to stay positive. By
remaining positive you keep your vibration high and when you are
vibrating at a higher rate your problems will dissipate so much
quicker or you may find it was not really a problem at all. Positive
things and events are attracted to positive people. Surrounding
yourself with positive people is a great way to remain in a positive
state of mind.

10. Stay in touch with your feelings. This is the most important
factor in keeping your vibration level high. Your feelings are the
cosmic glue in regards to your entire life. When you are feeling good
about yourself only other things residing on the same good frequency
will be attracted into your life. Your level of vibration runs
parallel with your feelings, meaning you are in control of your life
and the events that come into your life at any given moment. If there
was one most important point in relation to raisaing your vibration it
would be to stay on top of your feelings and don’t allow yourself to
feel negative or pessimistic. The better you feel about yourself and
your life the higher you will raise your vibration.

You're a great example of 'rising above' the negative.

Your posts always cheer me up. :)

Does this mean if you're being physically assaulted by burglars, you should just stand there with a sheepish smile and take it, since fighting back might lower your "vibration" level?

Just curious.

i don't know if i take the vibrational thing literally or metaphorically, but it's exactly what they're doing.

events is the key word, if we weren't kept in a state of stress we would sit down and understand everything.

Yes. :)

...a joke!!!!

A joke!

:D

I don't know. I wouldn't take it, I know that.

I suppose if you were a much more enlightened being and could see through the illusory nature of reality, you might let the energies play out without any concern for the illusion of your own physical body, but I think it's irrelevant to speculate on really, unless you're at a point where that seems like a genuinely sane and appropriate thing to do.

What's the quote? Something like 'the cause of all man's problems is his inability to sit alone with himself in a room'.

i'm not always able to sit with myself in a room, alas, and my personal experience tells me that the quote is truthful.

If you've read and agree with any of David Icke's last three books, then you know that "vibration" itself is the very thing that makes it an "illusion."

So if you spend all day obsessing over your vibration level, aren't you really just enslaving yourself that much more to the "illusory reality" you presume to free yourself from?

but I think it's irrelevant to speculate on really, unless you're at a point where that seems like a genuinely sane and appropriate thing to do.

In other words, it only becomes relevant when it stops happening to someone else and starts happening to you?

So much for "oneness."

"He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself." -- Thomas Paine

Agreed.

I think I'm approaching the time where I'm due for a service and will have to checkout for a bit and go back to the workshop for a tune-up, though.

All this stuff can gradually wear you down and make you unhealthy if you don't regularly drop it all and recharge yourself by solely focussing on simple, positive things for a while.

Then when you feel re-anchored in your own strength and goodness again, you can come back to it all with a fresh mind and eyes.

imo drugs (prescription/pharmaceutical grade) and vaccines are designed to lower our vibration as well, along with neurotoxins like aspartame and food additives

Supersize Me shows a good example of the depression and lethargy that comes from eating toxic foods...the show mentions fat, calories, and sodium content, but does not take into account the ingredients that were really doing the damage imo

when i got away from these foods and drugs i definitely noticed an increase in awareness, psychic ability, clear headedness, and the ability to stay optimistic and feel good

that list in the OP is excellent by the way :)

i'm not always able to sit with myself in a room, alas, and my personal experience tells me that the quote is truthful.

we need a cure to our hyperactivity syndrome, we humans... not everyone, but many of us, especially those illumie guys.

The mind's 'habitual tendency towards distraction.'

We get distracted in an instant and then get distracted again from even recognising that we're distracted, and on and on it snowballs until we're completely lost in our own complex fantasy world of self-inflicted amnesia.

The Illuminati guys seem to me to be a cult that that is ultimately all about worshipping that impulse of self-delusion that arises at every moment to try to seduce and lure us away from our own true source of happiness.

The more energy they give to that, the more confusion and negativity they generate in themselves, which causes them to look for answers to those problems in the wrong places again, and it becomes self-perpetuating.

If you've read and agree with any of David Icke's last three books, then you know that "vibration" itself is the very thing that makes it an "illusion."

So if you spend all day obsessing over your vibration level, aren't you really just enslaving yourself that much more to the "illusory reality" you presume to free yourself from?

You're right. I don't spend any time thinking about or trying to sense what 'vibrational state' I'm in, and anyone who did that would be slightly neurotic and stuck in a 'low' vibration just by identifying in that sort of concrete way, I think.

It's more about using the term to recognise that there are different densities of being, and that by focussing on the positive and making a conscious effort to embody that in life, we naturally bring about higher, lighter 'vibrations' that elevate us up out of the mud of that sort of conceptual-thinking altogether, and set us free in the sky-like state of clarity and stillness beyond it.

Or, another way to put it would be that it's enlisting the thinking mind to help find a way to circumvent and transcend it.

I'd eat McDonalds about once a year (because I'm hungry and there's nothing else around), and as soon as I'm done I feel miserable.

The food isn't digesting properly, my head's throbbing, I'm hot, nauseous and irritable.

People who eat it more often probably don't notice those effects -- it's freaking crazy!

If I'm restless and agitated, why does it sometimes soothe and appease me to tap out a frantic Metallica drumbeat on a tabletop or a beercan with my fingertips?

Why did I just type that and then re-read it wrapping out the 'shave with a haircut' tune with my fingers around the computer mouse?

Are these examples of me being pulled back into identifying with lower vibrations?

Because the more you think about it and look for evidence, the more you see that we do literally become certain vibrations at different times, particularly in response to stress, and pop music and it's beats seems to be a major vibrational oasis created for us to wallow in.

"wallow in" is a great description for what we seem to do with those kinds of music...i agree that they can be almost comforting when i'm really low/angry/depressed (life as a teenager lol) because maybe me being low, and the music vibrating low, resonate with each other?? but when i pulled out of it that kind of music would not appeal to me, and would even give me a headache

I love mac D's and I never get bothered eating them, I'm also usually really chipper and fairly switched on. So, what I don't get is... if you eat all these things that are supposedly bad for you.. what noticeable effects does it have exactly? I eat loads of crap and yet I'm still here, I haven't degraded into a knuckle dragging vegetable capable of only a few grunts just yet!
I do notice the effects of TV when I watch it, so I tend to avoid that, food I have no problem with even though I dont eat it that often (no I havent built up an immunity, I just dont let it effect me)

Bruce Lipton will say that its your perception, and your belief that influences what happens to your body. So perhaps that's just a belief getting in your way, you think these things are bad, so you create that reality?
If I thought Big Mac's were super awesome and good for me, perhaps it wouldn't have the same effect.

Everyone from every generation has always said that something or other is bad for you, coffee, sugar, tobacco, chilli peppers, candle fumes, UV light, rain, wind yadda yadda, and when they provide an alternative, thats always bad for you too!. Bloody hell you cant please everyone. Then its time to say 'sod it, I'm going to do a better, healthier burger and all the health freaks will love it because it will tone up your abs, make you lose 15 lbs and give you a bigger dick or bigger boobs (if you are a woman) and the next burger will get rid of your ant infestation by the sink too'

burgers are nasty because its a product derived around cost effectiveness and feeding the unwashed heathen masses as many and as fast as you can.
you can always make a better one!

Another good thing is forgetting yourself entirely and thinking about others in order to feel alive and happy and do good. I read a story once called At the back of the north wind by George MacDonald and it's a long time ago so I it's pretty fuzzy but explained what I mean pretty well. You can get it on project Gutenberg.
