Dont know if anyones posted about the before but has anyone ever seen this film?

Its set around a family on 'thanks giving' bieng filmed by the youngest son on a hand held camera. Long story short they get attacked by Aliens.

Watched it when i was younger and it scared the hell out of me! It was on Sky the other night and i watched it again. It didnt scare me as much but i would recommend watching it.

Anyone else seen it?

yeah i watched it i didn't mind it, was a little bit freaky...but i don't think it was real though just a good movie....

Was it not based on a tape that was found that was shot by one of the actual persons that was abducted.Did this family go missing and have never been found??Sort of BLAIR WITCH comparison.

Yeah, the handycam and the naturalistic "nobody" actors gives it a pretty creepy atmosphere.

I enjoyed the film. Very scary if you watch it in a dark room with a few jumpy people.

I saw the original one on Fox a long time ago and just watched this other version that was posted. The one posted was definitely not the one I saw this is, like everyone said, is remade with actors. In the one I saw, I do not remember ever seeing the actual aliens except for when you see half of his body go into the second story window. A lot of time is missing in the tape with static. I remember them getting bloody noses and the scratching after they had all woken up from mysteriously passing out. I don't remember any weapons from either side, nor a black man. What makes the original seem realistically valid, is the flying orb(not like the piece of # plasma looking thing in the new one) at the end of the tape. For a video camera, the orb was very high tech looking and moving all over the living room. I remember at the end of the tape, they had a team of analysts use their observations and explain. They said everything could have been staged except for the orb. To produce an orb like that on a home video camera would cost millions of dollars. What I find really odd as well.....I have not heard about this one night they played this video ever again and no one can seem to find the original. I never heard anything about it in the news; nothing. I do not personally know anyone else who has seen it either. No the first original has no credit endings just a lot of static on screen.There was several re makes but the so called original has went the way of the dodo.

First time i saw it was about 8 years ago,me and my brother where freakin out,:confused: i never understood why they didn't produce the movie mainstream,it would make allot of money.
I watched it a few months ago,and even though i knew what was going to happen it still gave me chills down my spine!

I rememeber seeing the orginal as well and it was only aired 1 time, i always wanted to watch it again , i cant beleve this didnt get more attention then it actually did , at the time it send chills down my spine watching it i was in a state of shock

I also feel the orginal tape was Legit, then confiscated by the goverment then IMO they hired a director to make a remake of it and air that just to discredit it , seems very strange to me the orginal was just lost, thats what i beleve anyways

Ethier way i thnk someone in hollywood should make a movie about this is a great story,it would make a fantasic movie if they remade it for the big screen with all the high tech stuff they have now , deffenatly make someone a bundle
