in this experiment the hypnotised subject can see right thru the other participant.
does this show the point david was making about the solidity of matter and the human body?
i hope to capture this again in better quality

Same sort of thing. Somebody should do this in a scientific manner.

What, you mean turning the telly off?

I wonder why the other spectators in that room were just acting annoying pricks.

I'd like to see subtitles. I gave up trying to understand the bulk of what was being said

No, I'm just saying skeptics see a room full of drunk scousers and would hardly call it proof.
I'm talking independent monitors, a controlled environment etc etc

1 - Technically a solid isn't solid anyway
2 - The power of suggestion during hypnosis can make anyone see anything.
I'm not questioning the ability of a person to do something in normal conditions, but I am skeptical about proof under hypnosis.

as atoms aren't solid, its pretty obvious things cannot be solid.

I reserve a degree of skepticism for this sort of thing, because if it's that easy to see through people, it should be just as easy to see through anything else, including walls.
Hypnotists who could pull this off would be world famous (or dead) pretty quickly.
Or rich. Imagine the potential to exploit situations for personal gain with a team of willing, hypnotised agents with x-ray vision at your command.
Anyone familiar with Wolf Messing, Stalin's psychic?
This is a pretty cool story:

People can act these things out, how do we know he is a real hypnotist?
I'm Very skeptical.

I think they are Irish not scousers
And she would of been aware subconciously of everything in that room so the fact somthing is missing from the table, it would not be too hard to figure out what he was holding. just a thought. But the fact she cannot see that lad tells us somthing just as profound.

Apologies for the scene and setting. It was a party among friends, where we decided to grab the opportunity. As I say we intend doing some more under better, more controlled settings.
I was there as were 8 others in the room all of who can attest to what they saw happened.
Im wondering if anyone on here can help us out with a few ideas on some experiments we could do. I like one post about seeing thru walls? another was suggested where we could have the subject leave their body to find something hidden in another room. These are just ideas for now.
We have to maintain the subjects safety at all times so please keep ideas ethical and reasonable.
Thanks for the debate. It was the first time to attempt this, call it a dummy run if you will.
