Wow!!!
at first i thought it would be a sequel to close encounters of the third kind,because of its title...looked at the trailer,scared the shite out of me...:eek:
this is a movie i want to see lol occultic references,subliminal,alien hoax etc i really don't care just let me watch it in peace :D

Interesting production.
It seems to be a movie designed to bring about fear toward extraterrestrials. I'll watch it anyway to see what they're attempting to portray. :)

Sony Pictures has chosen director Wolfgang Petersen to helm the film adaptation of Whitley Strieber’s novel “The Grays.”
Petersen known for such hit films as “In the Line of Fire” (with Clint Eastwood), “Outbreak” (with Dustin Hoffman), “The Perfect Storm” (starring George Clooney) and Brad Pitt’s “Troy” will begin filming this project within a few months. Petersen is looking for a release date as early as summer 2008, but realistically, the summer of 2009 is more likely.
Streiber is most known for his best selling novel “Communion,” which was also turned into a major motion picture starring Christopher Walken. In sci-fi, Streiber was paid a high honor by “Babylon 5″ creator J. Michael Straczynski. He created a race of beings similar to the Grays for the show and named them the Strieber.
This is the film i want to see from Stribier about the beings he called the visitors or who are known as the Grays.:cool:

Yep, more scaremongering.
Still, a must see for me...
How close it comes to my own experiences? And so on.
Used to be scared of it, now today I refuse to indulge in
the fear energy's any more. It don´t help.
Besides, fear is what they want. I mean all they have to
do is ask nicely...

Good point , i was just thinking that all we need be concerned about is taking responsibility for our own hearts and minds ,and not buy into the fear .

I enjoyed District 9 good story and some great CGI the prawns are so lifelike
