Addictive personality? When I first heard this phrase I thought it meant that if someone had an addictive personality, that other people got addicted to spending time with that person, because they where so attractive in many ways lol.

Incase anyone doesn't know what it means.... basically some of us are prone to addictions of all kinds!

I stopped smoking 3 days ago. I've smoked for over 20 years. longest I've gone withough a smoke before this is 6 days.
smoking is harder to stop than it is to stop taking heroin or cocaine.

Guessing I'm not the only Internet addict here.

heh. If I'm addicted to anything, it's soda pop, but especially Dr. Pepper!

I'm also kind of a a part-time alcoholic and I guess I am addicted to the internet too. As for cigarettes, I only need them if I'm drinking beer or if I'm around a bunch of other people smoking cigarettes.

Dr Peppers is nice lol I used to have a thing about that stuff, just the aspartane if that's how you spell the word? is an artificial sweetner and has had some bad storys but may be okay in moderation? not sure.

I can go without alcohol, I used to drink too much.

Majority of people are addicted to much much more then soda and ciggerettes.. Their addicted to every fundamental of reality.

everyone has addictions .. some are inclusive of other people .. some are just in themself .. and some are beliefs .. some are neutral .. some are destructive .. addictions are never lost .. they are transferd onto another addiction .. thats not a bad thing tho .. coz you can be transfering a destructive addiction to a neutral one. addictions are a result of environment.. they are not final .. they are lost with a proper environment change

i like an occassional joint once in a while, but i know people who smoke pot all day long. my guess is they don't really need it, it's a habit.

addiction=habbit ... habbit=addiction

when people say 'i cant stop, im addicted' ..... its the same as saying: 'its too hard to stop, its become too much of a habbit'

they could if they tryed hard enough and had a proper environment change..

Has anyone considered that the air we breathe may be the most addictive substance on this planet. Everybody uses it, were all conditioned to need it, from birth to death, and if we go without it for more than a few minutes, WE DIE! Pretty potent shit :cool:
