Alright so I only have 3 living family members. My parents and my grandpa, but my grandpa has Alzheimers...Anyways, Im trying to figure out my family history, cuz I havent found anything. I dont even know who my great grandparents were....My parents dont remember their childhoods, because of sexual, physical, and mental abuse. I also dont remember my childhood because of those things.
The lastnames I need help with are Clancy, Kimmel, Matsuzaki, and Hederich. If your wondering, the names are Irish, British, Japanese, and German. My German grandmother was a gypsy from the black forest. Oh and also my mother and my grandpa have a rare Italian blood disorder. Im starting to wonder if Im adopted though, everyone has a peachy undertone, but I have a blue undertone. My lips have a blue tint too. Yep I know Im weird but whatever. Okay so help me please!!! :D
BY THE WAY, I DIDNT KNOW WHERE TO PUT THIS SO PLEASE MOVE IT TO THE CORRECT SPOT!!!

Hello, hope this comes through, my first reply or post....My relative in Washington, helped me with some of my ancestry....went back to the 5th century! by using Ancestry.com. Of course she had a pay as you go membership, but she has found it worth the money. A free site is rootsweb dot com, which owned or associated with the above mention pay site.....I noticed in conversations with my helper, that she had spent in all thousands of hours searching prior to the net so things are better now for those of us who are less than skilled in research.

I will put it in General :) It is not really News so that would be more appropriate.
Good luck. It is very rewarding as you get into it. I spent some time whilst in Edinburgh looking up my Scottish ancestory.
I also accidentally found an online request recently on my Grandparents surname. It turned out the people they were looking for were my great grandparents. This thread has reminded me to get in touch as it would appear I have what they want and from what I saw, they have information useful to me.
I only do it now and then as it can become an obsession if you let it :)

We don't know much about our own heritage while the elites know everything about theirs.

Edit: Wait I just remembered something!!! Im related to Knights and Samurais. Oh and I think my moms uncle or my grandmas uncle was a baseball player in Japan. He played for a team called Kinki
Also, my grandmother (the Japanese one) was a famous opera singer and painter in Japan. In Japan's art museum they still have her paintings hanging up. Jeez I miss her. And my other grandma =(

Thanks I'll need it. By the way, I dont think its that they dont want us to know who we are, but that its really difficult to find our ancestors because of mixed bloodlines.
